Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted August 26, 2016 Site Supporter Share Posted August 26, 2016 Went for a walk earlier with the lad and passed through a farm. Got chatting to the farmer and young un asks him about the chickens running around. "Yes I do eggs" he says, "I do turkey eggs as well". We've come away with 6 bantam and 6 turkey eggs all for free! He's just had one and said it was delicious- anyone ever had one?

Also less rubbery than a duck's.

MancWanderer
I've had duck and goose eggs and didn't think much of them My Mum has her eggs delivered by some bloke in Bolton who has his hens scratching on about an acre of land and the yolks are more orange than a Manc girl on a night out in town. Unbelievably tasty and only 75p per half dozen. I get 4 dozen per fortnight from her!!! Really curious about turkey eggs. What's the flavour like? Gonzo is the resident egg expert, I'll await his input My therapy worker at eggs anonymous says I'm not allowed to talk about them. I started therapy session after hitting the 40 eggs a day Mark. The first step was admitting I had a problem. It was only when I was caught stealing loose change from my wife's handbag to buy free range that anyone knew of my addiction. One minute it was just eggs for breakfast, then it was dinner, tea and even snacks. Next thing I was eating them with one hand whilst holding a squeegee with the other. The past is the past now though. I'm on a course of egg whites to ween myself off the hard stuff.
