Members bolty58
You lads up there know anything about a horse called Rekindling? Same owners as Almandin, trained by Joseph O'Brien. Feather weight, good barrier draw, they've brought the 'job jockey' home to ride it. Been absolutely smashed in betting markets from 20.00 into 10.00 since the barrier draw on Saturday. A live threat if it gets two miles. enzo gambaro
Rekindling’s form is nothing to write home about. He hated Epsom when finishing down the field in the Derby, then picked up a Group 2 over 1m 6f when getting a stone off Wicklow Brave. Last seen staying on for fourth in the Leger. He might stay two miles but I’d say he’d have to find a fair bit of improvement for the step up to figure.

Drifted back out in the betting over the last 24 hours.
Members bolty58
Thank God I had a saver on Rekindling and managed to get 50% of the Trifecta. Came out marginally in front. Amazing how often this Lloyd Williams character pulls off this same formula for the big one. Two years on a run now - 6 times in total. The first four paid 44K by the way and I was on for 25%. Didn't have Big Duke for 4th but had 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th. That's racing! I thought pretty much the same, didn't think he'd stay 2m to be honest and I'd have thought he'd have needed to be closer to the pace off the top bend to stand a chance. He won well enough, I suppose, but it wasn't the best renewal of the race IMO. Best I managed was an E/W payout off Big Duke and three non-placers. enzo gambaro
I was on Johannes Vermeer, which only compounded my lack of faith in the winner! Backed Nakeeta too, who ran a cracker and would have been a fair bit closer with a less troubled passage.
