Members bolty58
Spent last night at the monthly Northern Soul do at Perth's Irish Club. Closely followed by the Rugby Where we outnumbered the opposition about 8 to 1 (and what a night it was ) Anyway, came across this from a bunch of Hampshire soulies for the first time:- Still trying to work out if I prefer the original:- One thing I do know, I don't reckon I'd want to get on the wrong side of Ms. Williams! Quite liking Ripples by Ian Brown. Typical fayre, but good all the same. Had one listen to White Lies new album - going to take some listening this one. Didn't grip me. The Specials new album - half way through it (listening as I type) - bit strange in places! A reworking of The Lunatics on there as well. Could do with some new inspiration - if anyone has any - for some new stuff (or old that I've not bothered with previously).
