I'm disappointed with Bolty's 'ooh aren't I non-racist' pandering.

Bond should always be a white British man.

Elba can play a villain instead - a drug-crazed voodoo yardie gangster drug trafficking pimp perhaps?

Hopefully getting killed in some gruesome way (a la Yaphet Kotto) by Bond after displaying his inherent traits of cowardice and lasciviousness (the villain - Elba).

And before anyone rightly claims me as bigot, Yaphet Kotto concurs...

https://www.theguardian.com/film/2015/apr/08/former-007-villain-yaphet-kotto-says-james-bond-cannot-be-black

The only role for black folk in Bond is as villains who meet a gory end.

Anyone who doesn't let out a cheer as Bond triumphs and Kotti pops is a traitor...

Disappointing you should be reward enough to me but to demonstrate that a lover of using the 'r' word is actually the one with those tendencies is the cherry on the cake.

I watched the Bobby Robson documentary on Netflix last night. Very good indeed. What a gentleman.

Cheers for the tip. I will seek it out. Yes, absolute gentleman.

I need cleansing after watching 'To good to go down' about the DMB's. I was hoping to relive the delight we all had when Denis Law relegated them but, somewhat predictably, turned into yet another glorification exercise. There were some elements of schadenfreude though.

As the Lever End sang for many years, "What are we living for, to see United in Division Four".

I suppose that should feel like redemption rather than resumption?

Presume you mean Sunderland?

Its not yet, think it starts later this week. It was being talked about on the radio at the weekend. Sounds decent, I'll be giving it a go.

You are right mate, my missus told me about it and said Scunthorpe, silly mare, 14th December it starts
