Never bothered with Luther (yet), but we really enjoyed the cardinal series (4 of them). Some good sub plots, some evil/nasty bastards, and some sick/grizzly endings for folk. On i player. Agreed often jumped to crime solved out of nowhere. Never an easy watch, bit 2nd half of S3 was pretty good.

Series was on BBC. So we watched then went backwards on i player. Think series 1 would have been even better watching in proper order to resolve the good cop/bad cop question. Line of Duty is one of the best British police dramas ever, imo, great acting performances. Stick with Ozark, first season is a bit slow in the middle but then just gets better. Seriously fucked up characters. Agree with you about White Lines - tosh.

Superb Which one are you watching - the first two seasons which are on Netflix as Top Boy: Summerhouse or 'Top Boy' which is actually the third season? Summerhouse is betterthan the Netflix series which drags in the middle a bit imo Edited July 6, 2020 by jmjhb
