Sad part is it isn't a surprise

Probably deserves its own thread this one really. "Haven't even been paying his wages for 4 months, we have"

Jules is right, only one side of the story but this FGR chairman sounds like a decent sort. We'll see what happens next.

I know KA has the right to reply and we should be careful with hearing just 1 side of the story, but this sounds really, really shit

Aye

Good luck to the lad in the future

Amazing Parkinson holds it all together bearing in mind what's going on

And now he'll have to pick the work shy Magennis next game

Fuck KA though, his bullshit has back fired on him this time

We're fucked, off the pitch

I’m well and truly pissed off with what’s happening at the club, we are a shambles. In many ways, we need to do what Newport have done.

sooner that cockney fuck is history, the better

I'm very much in the 'he's clearing up others shit' camp

But, we deserve to hear his side of this

It's not nice being a white at the moment

I'm happy to get my bed sheet out if things aren't clearer in the next couple of weeks

rightly a pretty strong post from FGR chairman

Fucking hell.

I'm a big defender of Ken, I understand he can't pluck millions out of thin air, he's got a difficult as fuck job and he needs to be a right bastard to keep our heads above water.

But with this I've nothing, it's bad, really really bad.

This. Obviously waiting to hear his side of this, but frankly not totally surprised, but massively disappointed.

Time to reduce the asking price perhaps.

We didn't sell enough shirts with DOIDGE 9 on.

Poor fucker just bought a house up here too

Surely he would know who was paying him

All seems murky, same as most of our financials, I suppose

Same Baz

Those of us trying to be balanced about it are turning now

Christ what a mess

Hope the FGR guy buys us

I’m sure his vegan menu would go down a treat with our fan base.

Another day, another outrage. Personally I’m waiting to see what comes out in the wash. If Parky hasn’t got any interest in playing Doidge then we might as well try and duck out of it while we can.

I guess he maybe didn't care - but surely if it was your old boss you'd hang on before buying somewhere up here

You can add me to that list. It’s one thing delaying payments and such to keep us afloat, but to enter into an agreement to buy a player pretty much knowing that you won’t be able to fund it is a shithouse move.

Feel for Doidge because he’d got his break into the higher leagues and for me was looking like he was just starting to get used to it and the goals were on their way.

Well we knew this was coming deep down after the Matthews episode at the weekend

deals fall through all the time in football but for us to be continuously the ones who don’t abide by our side of the deals is becoming 2nd nature

the sad thing with all this is the reputation it gives the club. When Ken has long fucked off we’ll still be feeling the affects of the relationships with other clubs he’s decimated

Nixon (I know, but who can you trust these days?) Says it was a guaranteed signing and long term contract. FGR chairman says there were contracts on paper agreed. Doidge probably felt he had the security to make a major life change.

It's absolutely deplorable.
