Obviously not the best time for any fan of BWFC no matter what you think of Anderson.

I stand by everything I've said in the past and think he's done an amazing job to get us so far considering what he took on, the suicidal BluMarble loan Holdsworth took on from the very first day and the financial basket case the club was, all without any substantial funds himself to invest.

As it stands Anderson is still in charge, the club isn't in Administration and we've yet to hear what Anderson's position is to keep the club trading.

Until then the gloating that has already broken out in some places is somewhat premature yet.

Do you really think that any BWFC fan is gloating?

This has been the problem all along. KA was supposed to be Holdsworth's money man (after some other presumably shady type got cold feet).

After the Sheffield United game, I wondered if Murphy was ill, or had been bereaved or some such- he was that poor.

Can't help thinking something has been up.

I thought similar. I didn't notice him much at WBA, good or bad, but in the next few games he was as bad as any bolton player I've ever seen. I'm talking Chris Taylor, Connor Wilkinson levels. I'll take some convincing that he can play in the championship and if he gets in before Oz has a run its incredible even by PP standards.

I won't gloat about anything. Nothing to gloat about

I think there's plenty who don't like his methods thinking great, this is the end of him

We can have a nice club which pays all it's bills when it should and does all things by the book

I fear they will be disappointed

Those who wanted Anderson out at any price should be well chuffed

A twitter M0ng told me today he’d prefer everyone to stop going, admin the club & build our way back over the next 10-15 years rather than have 1 more day of KA

a romantic view I thought

I’ll be glad to see the back of him but don’t expect it’ll get better any time soon but we have to move on from the Andersons even if it gets worse in the short term.

Madness. As if we could do some sort of AFC Wimbledon style swashbuckling through the non leagues and be in the 92 again in a few years, fan owned and all hunky dory? Fuck me you'd barely get a table full of Wanderers fans in a pub who'd agree with eachother at the moment.

Did you mean to post this on the Brexit thread?

He's done a job, and as time passes it looks far from amazing

He essentially acquired the club at the club's cost then renegotiated some existing contracts, borrowed/took money from whoever he could to keep things going and seemingly just ignored other contracts in place in the name of cash flow and really got lucky that we had Clough and Madine to sell

I'll give him credit if it ever turns out it's due but for now it looks like he's being found out for the bullshitting chancer he is

But

Wait and see what he's next column comes up with

Or the accounts

When are they due?

Lived in New Zealand too.

So the “novelty” of Cheltenham & fucking Lincoln away and playing at home in front of 5 thousand week in week out won’t really affect his life

his sum financial contribution to the club in these hard times has been a big fat zero

Well you are kind of right but everything fell to pieces on day one.

The details of the takeover reported at the time was that a consortium of Holdsworth's Sport Shield and Anderson's Inner Circle was to buy the club for £7.5 million, with Holdsworth putting in an initial £5 million at KA a further £2.5 when required.  Unfortunately the only money Holdsworth put in the club was £4 million and that from having a loan put on the clubs existing assets.  Is it any wonder why KA refused to put in any of his own money (without taking it back as soon as he could) whilst Holdsworth hadn't put in a penny of his own (and allegedly took £1 million for himself in setting up the £5 million BluMable loan yet only paying £4 million into the club!).

KA's been on the back foot from day one whilst Holdsworth seems to have got away scot free and with money in his pocket too!

I've not had time to find a link to the £5million / £2.5 million agreed break down as stated above but this link confirms that the takeover deal was for £7.5 million takeover -

They're all piss & wind. We've seen this season how many haven't got the stomach for a championship relegation fight......they certainly wouldn't be around when the reality of a full administration meltdown was to hit.

Not sure it's a contest for which one's the biggest spiv.

Effectively Ed's loan now covers Deano's "£5m" since it was used to pay off BM. Not sure we've ever seen Ken's £2.5m, but in any case the initial sum was just to keep us afloat in the relatively short term. If Cardiff hadn't donated £6m to the cause, suspect the meltdown we're seeing now would've come far sooner.

The signs were there when Ken shafted Oldham over the Chris Taylor loan deal. Their chairman said something similar to FGR's at the time.

We needed an unscrupulous bastard then (& probably still do) to sort some of the previous lunatic deals out. Eventually though the chickens come home to roost

Well maybe if the first spiv had brought the agreed £5 million to the table from his own source (rather than screwing the club for it), then the second spiv might have then put his £2,5 million as agreed - and we wouldn't be in such a mess as we have done since the first day of the takeover - and the club would have had the £7.5 million towards keep us out of the mess we are currently in and have had no involvement with BluMarble whatsoever.

Canny Ken saw a financially naive Holdsworth floundering and thought here’s an opportunity too good to miss, he’s proved in the past he’s a “ Dell Boy”, he’s robbed Peter to pay Paul from day 1,why some fans are still trying to defend his actions is a mystery to me, he’s brought the club into disrespect

With no Uncle Eddie to get him out of the shit this time it was inevitable it would come to this, the club still has valuable assets that need to be protected.
