I bet there’s nobody else in the world called that.

Unless he’s named after his dad.

Try googling the name - there really is another in the US of A.

Does Liam Edwards still play for us?

I left out some of the younger lads, Edwards, Graham, King-Harmes etc as I reckon they're more than likely going to be out on loans.

Edwards I think is still struggling with an ankle injury but I also don't rate him personally.

Edwards is 24 in October so very much make or break for him this season, though he's under contract for another two years yet.

Heard a little rumour that Bunney was not as fit as the others and wasn’t enjoying being pushed by Evatt, so no loss there then. He would have been a disaster in high back line, we need athletic wing backs.

He's always posting that Herbalife Pyramid Scheme on his social media, and managed to crash his car at 4am days after signing for us.

Cheerio.

Cant see how we can afford him.

Evatt has said there's nothing in it and that he's simply training with us.

If anything further comes from it then we've no idea what sort of money he'd be asking for.  Also, maybe Evatt is looking at bringing him in with a view of a coaching role which appeals to Adam ahead of getting paid £X.  Who knows.

In the statement that came out from the EFL about the salary cap it does mention bonuses counting towards the cap but then it says:

Quote

Payments directly linked to a Club’s progression in cup competitions or promotion are excluded from the Cap

That to me means we could sell the dream to potential players and pay them small enough wages to keep under the cap but then weigh em in big time with a promotion payment.

It'd be a financial risk for the players but if you're a free agent or someone like Adam who is knocking on a bit but still well capable especially at this level then it might be summat for them to consider.

Adam is 35 this year & just been released by Reading so might not be getting any more big offers......plus with him knowing Evatt ,it might make it more doable.

As a player though, yes & no. With the ball, no doubt he'd be very useful, ( & he'd probably be useful as an experienced head to the younger players ) but it's hard to see how he could fit in to the high energy game that IE is wanting us to play, & we've already got Doyle, who's the same apparently.

Having Adam's technical ability to pick a pass would really suit us if we're struggling to unlock a team who have 10 men behind the ball. Don't need to have high intensity pressing players all over the pitch if the opposition have no intention of attacking.
