Although his best rate seemed to be the spell at Rochdale when Keith Hill was manager there, so he knows how to get the goals from him. chrisw99
and the Barnsley career was also under Keith Hill I think - so he does seem to get the best out of him. Seems to be getting back on form at Oldham, 6 from 23 equates to 12 over a season. We haven't had a striker score over 12 for many a year. Kevin Davies got 12 in 2008, but we've struggled to get a striker into double figures since then. EDIT: no, Keith Hill had left Barnsley by then. Yeah, hes more of a target man, hold the ball up type, never been an out an out goalscorer, he was alright for us, ironically he played up front with Madine, and was the workhorse of the two, so, yeah.... It's just a deadline for loan signings that has now passed. The fact clubs can terminate a players contract by mutual consent, and then we can sign a free agent, effectively means we could sign anyone at any time going forward.
