Site Supporter Spider Posted June 23, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted June 23, 2017 Just watching Mark Lanegan. Fucking superb. Radiohead tonight. Katy Perry at some point the mucky pup. And the Foos. I'm still happier at home shitting on my own bog though.
gonzo
Highlight of my TV year. The only time I'll actually look forward to sitting down and watching summet on a weekend night. Love the smaller bands on the red button too.

Popped to M&S on way home and bought some bitters, oranges and cocktail cherries to make some Old Fashioneds with Don't get that in your scampy wellies Well I've watched/listened to about 6 bands/artsits and felt they were all a bit bed wetty Royal blood and Quo being the only exceptions. Radiohead at minute (6 music) . . . nay bad Edited June 23, 2017 by madthatter

I like the new stuff though, but i think they ought to do more early stuff tonight just cos.
gonzo
Each to their own like but I never bought in to the Radiohead thing. Just never got it. The songs where the dude was lying on the floor in the video and the Cartoon off C4 one were pretty good like. The rest was neiche crap. ex_midlandwhite
Elbow have just put in a stormer That would have been incredible at that smaller stage, in a hollow so the sound is always great there.

Matt Lofthouse
Each to their own like but I never bought in to the Radiohead thing. Just never got it.Same for me, although I do like a lot of their stuff ok computer was great, it's just all a bit to arty-farty for me. I watched them at Leeds one year and it just never seemed to get going and as a little rule of thumb in my head if I watch a band live and they're toss they get fucked off the iPod. See also rhcp, green day, linkin park, Aerosmith. Edited June 23, 2017 by Matt

Indeed, repeating "strong and stable" over and over and over again is a surefire sign of intellectual impairment.

mickbrown
Radiohead just too much like hard work. Some decent tunes then some absolute fucking noise. I gave up on em years back. This is why I never buy albums anymore. 70% of tracks on most albums are just shit
