Thanks for this Jay, not been on here for a while but was gonna post something.

Our Gaz passed away on Sunday afternoon. He'd had a major heart op 7 years ago at the age of 30 followed by cancer the following year. He then needed another heart op in october 2016. He'd been doing really well, was working hard as always and was blessed with his first child in January this year. We don't know the exact cause yet but was sudden and we're all in massive shock.

He was a massive Wanderer and had a flag delivered on saturday morning with "Silchester Whites" - thats where he lived, just outside Reading.

Received some amazing words from people including from those who knew him off here so thanks for those.

He'll be massively missed

Sad, sad news. Had the pleasure of travelling to Oldham in the cup with him and also drove him over to Sheffield United during our Premier days. Thought he was a cracking lad, couldn't fault him at all. So sad to hear this news. Do remember last time I spoke or whatever he was having some op or other on his heart.

RIP Gareth. Condolences to you and your family James.
