Traf
Other "Classy" Wanderers - Alan Stubbs, David Lee, Steve Thompson, Paul Jones, Peter Reid, Sasa Curcic. Stubbs? Tell me you're taking the piss.
waffer cup 07
Not one of them are in the class of JJ and Youri.
Ani
Burnden Bogs will be along at some claiming it was a fishing trip. Peter Reid. Or he misunderstood the word classy. Edited July 17, 2017 by Ani
jules_darby
David Lee - effective but certainly not "classy" when crossing straight into the embankment

Sweep
David Lee was bloody frustrating at times, certainly not classy Absolutely, sometimes he was great, other times not so great. Certaibly doesn't fall into the "class act" bracket
Burndens Bogs
I honestly believe Stubbs, David Lee and Peter Reid had great spells for us - ok "classy" might be pushing it a bit, but they were all good players for us imo.
Naytch
I took my son on Thursday, he never had the pleasure of watching Youri or Okocha play for Bolton. Luckily we were sat near the French team and Youri happily signed his shirt. At the end of the Nigeria game and once his TV interview had finished, Jay Jay was walking off, a dozen or so lads wanting his autograph on one side, we were on the other. Shouted his name, draped the Bolton shirt over the barrier and he walked straight over and signed the shirt. Top bloke, our club meant something to the pair of them That is class!! Site Supporter HomerJay Posted July 17, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted July 17, 2017 scott sellars was the first player i saw for bolton that made me thing, wow, he is on a new level to what im used to.
Site Supporter RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted July 17, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted July 17, 2017 Peter Reid won the League, FA Cup, UEFA cup & England caps...all that after an injury from which took a little away from the player he was before imo, so I'd go along with BB on that one. For me a classy player is one who always has time on the ball. In the Bolton team the young Reidy played in I would say the class player was Peter Thompson (not that teams are limited to one class player obvs). Loved to see the "original" Tomo leave defenders on their arse with his twists and turns. If it hadn't been for Frankie, Tomo would have been my favourite ever BWFC player

nantwichwhite
The pre injury Reidy was a superb player. He played in the same England u21 team as Glen Hoddle and looked the better player. He had catastrophic injury problems but still went on to do rather well
