We'll see

I'm getting the sense that Theresa has grabbed the middle ground and will secure votes from across a broad spectrum.

People will feel it's a better place than before the referendum and want to get on with things. It might all be over now.

Do you seriously think she has the numbers? From where? Labour parliamentary Brexiters aren’t even supporting her deal.

Talk of at least 80 Tories who won’t.

DUP won’t.

She needs 80 odd Labour MPs to vote for it. Only way she will get that is a deal with Corbyn. Is that what you are suggesting?

Oh, and the "Peoples Vote"

Correctly termed a 2nd Peoples Vote

Wankers

Really? I think they have a point. The government have fallen apart, and aren’t fit to make this decision. Need to go back to the people to restore democracy.

TM will have gone by Monday,

Sajid David will get the job, allthough a Remainer he will be acceptable to both sides of the party, he will ask David Davies to reset the negotiations and go for a ‘free trade agreement’ Canada ++ style, this will carry a majority in the HOC

No way are the EU starting negotiations again on the exit deal and this is the stage where we are at right now. From what i can gauge Canada+++ does not address the Irish border question and is more focussed around a trade deal

There are about 5,000,000 different versions of BREXIT, not one of them would get a majority in Parliament

forget a people’s vote, no time for it and even if there was we should never have a referendum again, it’s far to open to abuse

Let parliament decide between....

1) No deal / crash out in March

2) This deal

As the guy from LBC said, it’s a bag of shit but the best bag of shit on the table. The Labour leadership seem’s to think it can agree a deal that gives us all the benefits whilst still leaving the EU. They are as wrong as Boris and Mogg!

If I was an MP I’d vote for it and I’m a staunch remainer, the thought of crashing out doesn’t appeal at all

The Withdrawal Agreement is already better than Canada+++ but it only lasts for 2 years. It's not a Trade Deal ffs. It's just an agreement on what happens during the transition period.

Your big assumption is that 600 odd man/woman babies have the ability to compromise.

Let's face it, it's not in our DNA. Self-interest is the priority.

So you've changed your mind again, and now want a "no deal" scenario?

Now look, if this was a few of the others on here, I'd be saying 'I know that you may struggle to grasp this concept but, you seem to be having trouble distinguishing between what I would like to see happen and what I believe will happen'.

Yes, I would prefer a clean break now. When I hear Tusk end a sentence with '....and, of course, we are very prepared for no Brexit' with a smug grin on his face then I fear the game of negotiation is up and the only way to wipe the smirk off his face is to pull the pin. They will then know that we are serious - at the moment it is they who think they hold all the cards and the reason for this is the stupid twats who vociferously campaigned for 'No deal' to be taken out of the equation thereby hobbling our primary negotiating card.

What I believe will happen is completely different.  I believe a deal will be arrived at by hook or by crook because most of all it is the EU's interest (with their substantial favourable trade imbalance) and will therefore prove that MK has been right all along.

Of course, you're a bright lad and will have no trouble in understanding where I am at with it.

She'll be gone by tomorrow

If that lizard Mogg gets the job I'm moving to Australia.

If Boris gets it, I'm buying a skipful of popcorn and getting ready for the best 6 months of dark comedy this country has ever seen.

...and I will assist you wherever I can mate.

A few issues

Many will not understand, or be willing to commit the time/effort to understanding, the deal.

How many of those screeching for a 2nd referendum (that's what it is) voted to leave? Not many would be my assessment. It is about staying in, delaying.

I’ve believed all along that we would have to carry out our no deal threat to get the best deal from the EU. Unfortunately we’ve not got the leader that is brave enough to actually carry out the threat. In any event  I’m still of the opinion we can gain further concessions from the EU if the government show resolve or the deal on the table fails to get through parliament.

Folk need to keep calm, stop flapping and let this process take its full course.  We will get a deal and I’m predicting a better deal than is currently on the table.

Utter bull

That’s what the EU want the British public believe and I’m suprised you have swallowed it hook line and sinker. Thankfully there are plenty of folk who haven’t.

Jesus, what a cunt Claire Perry is

anyone else on question time?

I agree. She was horrific. From the moment she rambled on in a shrill voice for too long and Dimbleby tried to give someone else a chance and she said "I know you don't like women speaking" I took an instant dislike to her.

She didn't seem to realise that nobody wanted to hear her blaming the Labour party for a Tory made mess. Glad she was jeered for that.
