Dear me

The Eu’s refusal to discuss the future partnership and trade arrangements before we leave means we now have a simple choice. Sign an expensive and damaging deal and try another 21 months or more of talks, or leave and trade under WTO rules on terms we set out. Its obvious we must just leave. Doing so produces many economic advantages

1 An immediate substantial improvement in our balance of payments as we cease sending money to the EU
2 An end to all the uncertainties about our trade relationship with the EU, which will become much like our trade relationship with the USA and China.
3 The ability to increase spending on public service, providing a welcome boost to schools, social care, defence and others, out of the savings.
4 Tax cuts to raise take home pay and boost the economy
5 If we spent an extra £39 bn on ourselves instead of paying to stay in the EU for longer over the couple of years, that would be a 2% boost to GDP
6 Remove VAT from green products and domestic heating fuels, which we are not allowed to do in the EU
7 Announce zero tariffs on all components coming in to the UK for industrial assembly, making components from non EU sources cheaper and boosting manufacturers
8 Announce cuts in tariffs on food from non EU places, which are currently very high. The new lower tariffs will also of course apply to EU product. Set them to boost domestic agricultural output of things we can grow well.
9 Take control of our fish and rebuild our fishing industry.
10 Limit unskilled and low paid work permits and go for a higher wage more productive economy. Have a migration policy that is fair to all parts of the world and based on our economic needs.

There's a perfectly good deal waiting for us under WTO. It's right to explore the optons, but we need to move on and forget about the corrupt EU, who will never understand win/win.

Fuck me. You have no idea what you're talking about.

HAHAHAHAHA if only David, Jacob, Theresa, Dominic, Nigel or Boris had thought of that. :D

(p.s Where did you copy and paste that utter bullshit from?)

Isn't this what you label diversionary?

Why don't we stick to the facts..the facts that there's no good deal to be had

And Juncker is the saviour of the failed EU project.......priceless....

Such a failed project that our government are scrapping to stay as closely tied to it as possible. Don't worry, you'll see what a "failed project" looks like in 4 months when "Brexit" gets over the finish line. Your idols will be bathing in champagne while you're queueing up for a pint of milk.

Saying that gives as much gravitas as nobs who say, in no particular order:

Wet Spam

Crippled Alice

Twatburn Rovers

You're a lot better than that Bolty

If you'd followed the thread, I have desisted at the request of Traf. Just a one off retort to someone who saw fit to trot out 'holding all the cards' numerous times in one post which I find as stultifyingly crass as Remainers find that other label.

Tempted to propose a 'you stop and I'll stop' deal but it would have to be a good enough deal ;)

You've probably not

I've got you on ignore so was just guessing *

* nobody is actually a big enough tart to actually have anybody on ignore, are they?

Abso-fucking-lutely me (there you go, a tmesis included as well).

if you think I am going to waste time and energy reading the thoughts of Chairman Cheese and a few others, you are fucking wrong. If I want an argument based on the other party simply taking the contrary position for the fucking sake of it, I need only walk into my own kitchen rather than waste precious time on here.

I have a heinous half dozen at present and have visions of achieving a dirty dozen one day. Why have an ignore function other than to weed out boring cunts?

I was undecided which way to vote right up until polling day so I haven't got a strong opinion either way.

I'd found this thread an interesting way of seeing both viewpoints but it appears to have really degenerated these last few days with some posters just using it as a platform to be abusive to others that don't share their opinion.

It's peeing me off, so I've no idea how Theresa May copes!

This thread has never been interesting.  It's consisted of mainly nonsense of the dullest fashion since its inception.

I think morbid curiosity brings people to it.
