miamiwhite
Certainly going to be an interesting new political year. Brexit, the yellow vests movement going from strength to strength, lefties giving up What’s not to like ?

By then it will be too late. Grayling out.

Traf
Mark Bamford of JCB is involved with Seaborne. JCB are one of the Tories main donaters. Absolutely unlinked events...
Mounts Kipper
I don’t like Grayling, seems incompetent to me, but if SF linked to JCB at least they have the wherewithal to pull this off.

They're only linked by people with fingers in pies. There's nothing to suggest Seaborne can do what they're getting paid for. Anybody know where to buy some second hand ferries? Farrelli
Tories involved in corruption and inept management of Brexit scandal. Is anyone really surprised?

Dunno about you, but I’d prefer a ship carrying me over the channel than a digger. It’s all about personal choice though, I’m not judging. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted January 3, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted January 3, 2019 Nepotism is one thing. Corruption something else. Easy to make comments like that; should any evidence emerge of criminality then chuck the book at them. If not, then just don't vote for them. If contracts are awarded on the basis of nepotism then that potentially, or likely, indicates corruption! The point is we all know it goes on, but in a situation as serious as this it is completely unforgivable.

The real choker is that the media, the mainstream media like the BBC should be all over this. Instead they will carry on trying to spin May's nonsense about how her deal is the only option. We truly have moved into an age of complete and utter corruption in this country.

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted January 3, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted January 3, 2019 Agree. If legal irregularities come to light then fine. If, concerns of their suitability appear (as that terms and conditions might suggest) then by all means raise them. However suggestions of law breaking with no evidence is poor form. Just an easy target.
