.....that's what we wanted though............Sovereignty

The 17.5mill who voted out wanted OUR own elected Parliament to control our own destiny not the EU, now OUR own Parliament won’t give us what we, the majority, wanted, this is not Sovereignty or Democracy, and you know it, and it will end badly

40 odd years of being part of a trading block was never going to be straight forward to leave. It was mentioned in detail during the referendum campaign by Nick Clegg (and others) but was dismissed as project fear.

Just tell me where on the side of a bus with Boris and his chums said we will go for a No Deal Brexit that, by everybody's estimation, will reek havoc throughout our economy? It may have been in the small print somewhere but it was not mentioned as part of the plan. This was all about brown people coming into the UK and pinching our jobs and many people who voted Leave are regretting their decision because this is one holy mess. Since when did anybody vote for what we are seeing right now? We are fast becoming the laughing stock of the world

I never heard or saw the option of no deal brexit.

Totally different kettle of fish.

I was borderline leave by the way, but nowhere near leaving without a deal and falling off a cliff edge.

Unfortunately the issue is you do not understand the words sovereignty or democracy. Also you do not seem to understand the position of our Parliament before the referendum. They already had control of our own destiny. As we can see now.

The fact that they don't all agree with you, does not make parliament undemocratic. Nor does it not make it sovereign. The very fact we are deciding how we leave the EU shows our sovereignty.

Do you not see anything contradictory in your post ?

What do you mean by ‘cliff edge’?

exactly, there was a hidden agenda that hoodwinked so many people to vote Leave and there was without doubt a racist element to the Leave Campaign. Farage's Syria poster was indicative of the type of campaign he wanted to wage if he had been given carte blanche authority over the Leave message

She has no interest in winning the vote

There's no option than give it to parliament to decide

Like the winners like to remind us, if there's a different result, it'll be 1 1 and we will need another

Could go on for years

All well and good but they won't sort it will they.

Not sure why you think TM doesn't want to win the vote; unless this whole thing is a charade; a clandestine conspiracy between remainers to keep us in.

Could be some very strange results come the next election.

Do you want our own elected parliament to control our destiny or not ?

Genuine question - Do you think a majority voted for a No Deal Brexit ? I get some people voted out in any shape or form but do you think some people voted out assuming that there would be a deal of some description ?

I reckon the majority voted out with the expectation that the govt/parliament would sort the best means of doing that.

For some that would be a complete break, for others some ties to our neighbours is beneficial.

Ultimately, a compromise has to be made somewhere. I'm not seeing parliament working to achieve this at the moment.

Hopefully, once the vote is lost, they might sort something out, but I won't be holding my breath.

She wants to win. She's desperate to win. She's pulled the vote for a month (unheard of) to try and win.

Suggesting she doesn't want to win is nonsense.

She's dug herself a hole now though because it is widely expected that she's ruled so much out that her only option is to keep bringing her deal back for another vote in parliament....which of course will increase pressure on her because a) she's had a ridiculous amount of time already and b) the people's vote will ask why she is allowed two goes....

I would be very happy with parliament agreeing to vote on this as long as the options were leave without a deal, leave with TM Deal,  or get your useless bony arse back to Brussels and negotiate a proper deal.  Its not rocket science we voted to leave the idiots in parliament cant seem to wipe their own arse.
