Let them make a judgement in 40 years as to whether to go back in then.

They'll be better informed having been around to witness both situations.

No thanks, I'll hope for a people's vote now.

All options are still on the table until the vote next week.

You listening to Jeremy to much. You’ll be coming out with shambolic next. And if there was a people’s vote you’d lose again. 😂

I'm not interested in Corbyn's opinion.

I like the growing centre ground independent group though.

Growing? Is there 7 MPs? They’ll disappear in 12 months.  And chuka is the prince of cunts after the king Corbyn.

Having seen a little of last night's performance by TM, I'm struggling to see how it's likely to get more MPs to vote for her deal.

Has she thought, balls to it, "I'll do what I said I would and take us out one way or another", or was it open warfare whereby the erg etc take on remain, with more moderate MPs ultimately having a casting vote.

I don't think so. 11 independents, 11 LD's.  It is small now but will grow.

After this is over there has to be a shift in mainstream politics towards the centre ground.

People Jeremy Corbyn won’t talk to:

• Chuka Umunna

Add Ian Austin and Mike Gapes to that won't talk to list.

Assuming leave happens, the centre ground issue will become less important.

Leavers and remainers on both sides of the house; it's not really a left or right issue.

Should we not leave the EU, then it could become a bit more polarised.

I think it’ll of harden opinion of the DUP and ERG. She’s toast.

It's not just brexit though.

You're right it isn't. But on other issues there isn't the same level of split within parties. Except the anti-Semitism issue in labour.

Most of labour losses to tigs has been over the this.

Should that continue then maybe more defections will follow.

Always a possibility erg types may do one I suppose, if brexit doesn't happen, but they won't head towards tigs!

A new generation is coming through and they don't see things like you.

A quote that gets trotted out every generation.

May to be fair has put the MPs on the spot, they keep rejecting the only deal available and also say No Deal' is not acceptable

Maybe, but I sense something more significant is changing in our politics and the relationship with social media.

I think NHS, Law and Order as well as national security and the environment are huge issues.

I think, and I hope I'm wrong, the shift may be towards the extreme sides.

Those getting disillusioned with pilitics and politicians are those who traditionally would vote on issues, possibly even changing party allegianceeach election.

Sweep said he didn'y care if people stopped voting, theonly problem is that those who will stop are the target market for the centre ground, extremists will continue to vote for the old parties as they shift outwards from the middle, leaving a vacuum in the centre that no-one votes for.

If we remain in the EU, dont be surprised to see a Tommy Robinson type character as PM within 10 years.
