That there is everything that's wrong with this country at the moment.

Nobody can have a discussion anymore

No Michael. I’m all for discussion  and reasoned debate as I’ve proven numerous times.

you are honestly telling me there is nothing wrong with his statement? And it’s not an absolute Piss take and one of the reasons we find ourselves in this perpetual limbo currently then I will be shocked

he doesn’t respect the first vote firstly. Secondly he wants a second vote which he will then accept but in the same breath try and unravel immediately thereafter?

This is why the the likes of farage have had to darken all our doors again. Attitudes like this in a nutshell

So you can keep your smart remarks and bold type to yourself cheers

When the decision of the vote came out Maggie Tate was telling all and sundry it was a piece of piss to sort out trade deals, all done within a month or so. Falling over to deals with us etc

In fairness, he did talk a vast amount of shit. He also claimed climate change doesn't exist, and that people having guns helps prevent gun crime.

It will be a game changer.

No matter what happens, it'll change fuck all, well still be going round in circles for the foreseeable future. I hope I'm wrong, but I can't see The Brexit Party winning most of our MEP seats (evern though we're never allowed to vote for members of the EU Parliament according to some) will make a huge difference in the immediate political landscape, purely because there will still be the same idiots in the HoC

Aye, but he wasn't the only one with that way of thinking. He is a w/ways reference but I bet there are loads with a similar of thinking 're the EU

Farage speech tonight in Bolton was top quality, he’s absolutely smashing it. It’s a joy to behold. Nigel, Nigel, Nigel. 🇬🇧

No he is preaching to the converted.

His party have no policies and no manifesto. Just repeating democracy is not really smashing it.

Unless he said something new ?

Smashing it, is winning the elections after being a party for just 5 weeks, and they will by a country mile. Think smashing it is a pretty accurate description.

United Ireland. Wow that's a good result for Sinn Fein.

You think everyone not voting for the  Brexit party are pro remain, it seems you really are a dim wit.

so why do the polls indicate remain support is in the ascendancy? I reckon The Brexit Party has mopped up the vast majority of Brexit- loving voters and with UKIP probably 45% max. I would suggest that remain support would comfortably be around 55% which is roughly where the polls are. You are good sport Mounts😂

You’ve made up these figures, the other parties have remainers and leavers in their ranks,  just admit you’ve not a clue, the only fact is that the Brexit party will smash these elections.

I went along tonight. They're clearly trying very hard to garner cross party support. Quoting Socialist stalwarts like Sylvia Pankhurst and Tony Benn on more than one occasion. And frequently making the point that 'this isn't about left and right'.

Their party video went to great lengths to promote the idea that they had support from all ethnic backgrounds and had a touch of the 'Benetton effect' about it. The faces in the hall were almost universally white. There was one bloke there who might have been Indian but he seemed to be the only one.

Nigel Farage was charismatic and amusing in places. Very much playing to the crowd who were lapping it up. He stated that they were hoping a big win for them on Thursday might mean they could demand a seat at the negotiating table. And that they also intended to field candidates in the next General Election. Which again played very well to the crowd. He came out on the offensive re the new election expenses investigations - but perhaps tellingly didn't deny anything - just flung mud at Gordon Brown.

To sum up - they make a really compelling argument about upholding democracy. It's very hard to argue with and it did tug at my votestrings. But in 90 minutes they said literally nothing about their plans for the future, or life outside the EU, or how they intend to make Britain a better place. The closest they came was saying we'd leave on WTO rules - but we knew that already.

That's been my main criticism all along. Nobody on the leave side has come up with a credible plan for when we leave. And it was the same tonight. Lots of bluster and bravado but ultimately no vision. Or at least not one that they're willing to share. They actually said at one stage 'in a couple of weeks when we start writing our manifesto'.

Great turn out though - rough headcount about 7 or 8 hundred. I'd say it was 60/40 men to women. 99.5% white British. Mainly 40+ but more young people than I was expecting.

Nope they are based on logic and if you took time to read the polls link i shared on here you will see that my numbers aren't far away. There is one problem though you will have to take your head out of Nigel's arse to read them but i am not sure you want to do that just yet.

By the way i take it you support Nigel's policy on the NHS and abolishing discrimination in the workplace based on race and colour, what a lovely guy he is.

The guardian a pro remain paper has it at 37-36% for remain.  You have said remain have a 10% lead. Your figures made up as I suggested. You really should stop  digging that hole.

Well there is a first, you admit remain is in the ascendancy and the independant pollsters have it the same.

As for the Guardian % numbers there are clearly some 'don't knows' in there that's how these things work but i still stand by my assumptions

Again you can’t admit your figures were bollocks and made up. Par for the course from day one. You’ll get one right one day... law of averages and all that.😂

I’ve asked before, without any answer other than “ they won’t come that way” or they’ll have to show their passport to get into England”but that was about 100 pages ago, so I’ll ask again, how does no border between the EU and the UK reconcile itself with your “ tougher control on our borders “ as one of your reasons to leave ?

not saying you are wrong or right, just wonder how you marry the two up
