He's got more than a few skeletons in his cupboard, and Tory politicians are ruthless when it comes to grabbing power. It probably won't make any difference though. He's a global laughing stock, with mountains of evidence to prove he's unfit for public office. But he's going to be PM anyway, so in for a penny, in for a pound. Remainers in Parliament, Starmer, Greive ect, BBC/Today prog, Peoples vote, Channel 4, Sky News they are shitting it, think they’d better get used to it

Everyone on every side has shat themselves on many occasions, then it's swung the other way. Don't be surprised if Boris gets to be PM, then completely backtracks on everything he's said regarding Brexit. He doesn't give a fuck about your wishes, regardless of what he's telling you at the moment. Edited June 12, 2019 by Cheese

I disagree, but that's fine. And that's also why we are where we are. There are lots of genuine, sensible politicians (across all parties) but the general consensus is that they only care about their careers. It's easy to see why people think that. I generally disagree about this "they're only in it for themselves" I think most go into poltics for the right reasons (albeit warped for plenty) If Grieving, Letwin etc cared about their careers, they'd be voting differently now! That's how most people see it though. It's not surprising when the most prominent politicians are millionairres with second jobs, and have publicists and multiple homes etc. They are the vast minority, but they're the only ones the average person is aware of. Which is a shame in a way, as generally Grieve is worth listening to. However, as he's done nothing but try to remain, and not been prepared to accept the result and compromise, then it's best be goes.
