...and so, because of snivelling, duplicitous cunts in the HoC, the purgatory continues.

Can't wait for a GE now. Seeing some of these utter shithouses, who have worked tirelessly to deny democracy, lose their positions of power as the will of the people is expressed will be heartwarming. That is unless of course they find a way to circumvent the will of the people.

They’ve no more or less at stake than me. They may well (I hope) outlive me but doesn’t make their view any more important than mine. You must see that?

All opinions carry equal weight but younger voters are 2:1 more likely to vote to stay in the EU and they are currently making the difference in the polls

If we had an open invitation to get back in on today's tems in 5 years, I'd vote leave myself

Problem is, when we realise it's not the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, we are getting offered a shitty stick way back in

This could be a way to get it over the line, let the public decide which BREXIT (soft Norway, Boris Deal or No deal)

Supported with a promise of a In or out vote after 5 / 10 years on the current terms

That way the first referendum is honoured, we get a BREXIT that the majority of people want NOW and if it doesn't work out we can go back in at a later date

Nothing to be scared of as a Brexiteer, if it’s not working after 5 / 10 years then it’s a pile of shit anyway surely

What you are asking for isn’t really viable. A CU/SM option isn’t off the shelf. The EU have indicated they would negotiate on such an option but also made clear that in fact it isn’t an off the shelf option.

A deal would have to be negotiated.

Mounts, you have officially lost the plot.

PIGS bailouts? We have no obligation to do so at all, we are not in the Euro! We did help Ireland and Portugal via the EU with loans but not Greece or Spain and those loans have been repaid.

What has Turkey and Syria got to do with anything? Also you do realise how the Turks feel about Syrian refugees don't you? They aren't welcoming them with open arms ffs. Turkey is not joining the EU in our lifetimes either.

EU army may happen one day or it might not. Either way we have a VETO!

Quantitative easing again is for the Euro not Sterling.

My own mum also believes this shit because she reads the fucking Mail.

No I have not, if it’s good enough for remain to require the government to continue to supply information as to why we should not leave I expect parliament to demand the the same info I expect the same requests for us to stay in the EU.

Your not getting it, the only option remain will allow is remain, 17.4 million don’t get the say the 16 million know better and herein lies the problem, democracy demands the losers to give consent and they won’t give consent. The only way out is a general election and the people giving a mandate to the winner of leave with a deal or without a deal (Tories) Revoke (liberals) labour (negotiate a labour deal then put that deal and remain to the people, but campaign against their own deal 😂🤣😂 (labour) we all know who will win and that’s why the opposition won’t give the people a GE.

Scotland and NI both want to stay in the EU rather than stay in the UK. Speaks volumes.

NI has asked for a referendum to leave the UK ?

When did this happen, did it get snuck through on a slow news day ?

I thought the sticking point with the DUp was that they wanted to stay in the uk, rather than the EU.

Silly me.

There was only one constituency in the referendum

Against my expectation but precisely with the oft stated forecast that the EU would show pragmatism and compromise at the last minute - a deal has been struck. Fair play to the EU, they want it over and done with.

The vast majority of leavers says it's not a perfect Brexit but the time has now come for compromise on all sides to bring this to a conclusion that respects the result of the 2016 referendum.

Remainers say (as they always did) that they respect the result of the referendum but don't want to leave on no-deal. Despite problems caused in undermining the Government's negotiating position and incompetence from Mrs May - a deal has been struck. They are reasonable people and they want us to get on with it. I know very many people from friends and family in this category.

Remoaners continue to obstruct, tantrum, deny-democracy, hector, lecture and resort to the courts. Our current parliament has too many of these characters. Their days are numbered. We will leave the EU and when the history books are written these people are going to look very foolish. If Brexit has done nothing else it has flushed out people who describe themselves as tolerant as illiberal, undemocratic, conceited and censorious. We know who you are now. Your camouflage has gone. When you are in a hole you stop digging. You are still digging. The hole you're in is getting deeper.

Clearly your grief counselling itsn't helping you come to terms with the referendum result. I think we all know which category you fall in to. Wanderersways democracy denier in chief.

Ok, devils advocate then

We have an election to ‘sort BREXIT out’

Lib Dems win a majority and revoke article 50. You think that will sort out BREXIT and we can all move on?

The problem with the original referendum was that they didn’t expect to lose. With hindsight it should have been leave / remain. Then, 2nd question, if leaving wins would you prefer....

soft / middle / hard BREXIT

With everyone getting input into it, not just leavers

As things stand we are struggling to get a majority in Parliament as the only mandate from the people (leaving EU) is too broad brush

Have another referendum with three clear leave options on the table and let’s do it properly.

I keep saying it but this is absolutely spot on. The key being all the options now should be linked to leave and how we leave not if. This is the only way the first referendum is honored and upheld

before someone says it yes I know there will be few more people who have birthdays today and are now eligible to vote. Same as every day 😴😴😴😴
