Site Supporter Winchester White Posted March 12, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted March 12, 2019 I think the EU are sick to fucking death of us now. It will be one of two ways now, leave with no deal or a 9 month delay to get the EU elections sorted at which point there is either a GE or a 2nd vote. birch-chorley
Why should she vote for No deal if she thinks that the EU have given us a perfectly good deal It’s our Parliament that won’t push it through, not her

Wanderlust
Ask bad questions and you get bad answers which is why the referendum was a f******* joke as the majority of people voted for two opposing things and nobody knows what Brexit is. May of course was a fervent Remainer and warned us all of the dangers of leaving the EU, and right now, given a choice I'd opt for a second referendum and vote Remain. And as for the trillion pounds that has already been taken out of the financial sector and moved to Europe, and the rafts of foreign employers notably in automotive that are pulling out all I can say is Typical Bloody foreigners! Going over there and taking our jobs with them. Edited November 6, 2022 by Wanderlust

By rights, we should now tick nicely towards a clean break on the 29th. We've known this right from the start, and was voted on in Parliament. No going back. Parliament are now going to worm out of this today and then, as you say, the fun will start. This has already become MPs versus the public and it's about to explode. Leave means Leave. Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted March 13, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted March 13, 2019 QPR could be riot weekend in London if the liars keep us in the EU beyond 29th. Let’s go and smash the star waving brigade all over the shop, after all, us leavers are all uneducated, racists buffoons who didn’t know what we were voting for

If - and it's a massive if - the EU can match this offer, it makes no deal more attractive than whatever flimsy bollocks is currently on the table. It's too little too late for me personally (at least for 12 months as contracts have now been signed elsewhere), but it will certainly be a boost to many others. I still think the whole thing will get flushed at this stage, but right now I'd go for no deal. Makes more sense.
