I've never been quite that far west in the Cotswolds. Nearest I've been is the strangely named Guiting Power - about six miles from Winchombe. Also beautiful. I'll get out that way before Spring and Summer are out!

I’m in there about twice a week, there’s a few villages that are very similar within spitting distance. I usually drive into Bourton on water once a week, another stunning place but like a mini china when the tourists arrive.

anyway back to BREXIT. Leave means leave! Get me my Blue passport

Bourton, Stow. They're all a bit like that.

Does "royal" signify Bootneck by any chance?

There’s a most elegant way to end the uncertainty

Obdurate is a word I ought to use more. You can probably guess which particular people in parliament I'd aim it at.

Dover won't collapse in to the sea. Just letting you know in case Project Fear is starting to unsettle you. 🙂

No, it’s just moving to Manston. This in and of itself is laughable.

Tories in utter turmoil

Sure

but also sets it up to be Parliament v The People (who they granted the vote)

Who wins that?

61% of Labour seats are leave, don’t forget

Yes, I know that, but 61% of seats held by Labour are Leave.

Which is an utterly futile statistic. The Labour vote is a remain vote. It’s irrelevant about seat distribution. Corbyn’s pandering to a handful of Northern MPs who can’t see that will cost them dear.

Also it isn’t parliament against the people. It’s parliament against a minority of extremist ideological Brexiteers. Take the deal and move on. Or else parliament will not allow a no deal. It’s clear as day now. The deal is the only Brexit you are getting. And there is only one more chance!

How stupid can you be?

of course it’s about seats.

you don’t lose votes, you lose seats

Where have been since you started voting?

61% is not an insignificant number

Anyway, as ever, you know best.

If the majority of people who actually voted for you were remainers then explain why the seat distribution of leave vs remain matters?

The often misguided assumption is that all voters in the referendum even vote in a GE.

I’m not sure that the majority of the electorate give a fuck about the issue any more, most people switched off years ago

I think the next election will play out like the last one, it will be a question of how many false promises can Corbyn make without the masses seeing through it

Brexit will be about the 24th bullet point on the Labour manifesto

Plenty of the 61 seats won’t give a shite about Brexit, they will vote Corbyn as it’s the anti establishment vote, a vote for change, like BREXIT was in 2016

The Beckett amendment did but it was so close I doubt they would vote for no deal. More likely just to go round in circles for months.

Aye

Meanwhile nothing is happening at all

The country just isn’t being run, no major decisions are being made

Complete mess

Take the deal and move on ffs
