The Swiss have always been expert at "having their cake and eating it" under a banner of neutrality. I suppose we have been trying to model ourselves on them.

Don't think the article's analogy works very well except try to justify our discontentment with Europe.

He let slip, Paul, he's only late 40's.

Top BWFC knowledge, Fall fan yet a string-backed driving glove wearer.

Bizarre - but each to their own.

He’s extremely angry.

I like that in a bloke.

I've only ever met two Swiss blokes, both of them were arseholes. One was a massive racist dick and one an arrogant twat who branded all British women as ugly. Mainly because they wouldn't go on dates with him.

Went to Geneva, boring. The campsites a we stayed in would only allow speedos in their swimming pools. Most odd.

I did a wine tasting afternoon with a Swiss bloke in Tuscany. (Thinly veiled)

He spoke brilliant English, had a fit wife, worked in finance and was the dullest bloke I have ever met. Just a complete personality vacuum.

Went to Geneva for 2 nights years ago. Was expensive and characterless.

You go to the wrong places fella, try this place, absolutely breathtaking.

Part of the Points episode in Band of Brothers was filmed at the hotel.

I bought some Portugese lad's entire vinyl collection for fuck all, he'd gone to the nest of cowards that is Paul's utopia - Switzerland, home of the coward and anti-semite.
