Fire Service got involved because we didn’t want piles of rubbish turning into nightly bonfires so the teams clearing the shit had to act quickly. Strange that if I put so much as a securely tied bin bag out alongside my bin on bin day the good old bin men wouldn’t lift a finger to get shut by throwing it into the back of the truck.
