This is what I do not like about social media seeing someone die or get seriously hurt isn't something I want to see, therefore I wont be viewing either.

Then don't open any video sent to you by Gonzo

Once saw an amnesty international video about Sadam and his execution squads in Iraq. Seeing people actually shot just drop to the floor, rather than the Hollywood flailing around, has remained with me for the 18yrs or so since I saw it.

I saw an ISIS beheading video (I believe it was the taxi guy from Manchester) a few years back. You definitely can't unsee that shit.

The one I saw, I couldn't unhear it, the noise as his neck was hacked, like someone having the breath sucked out of them, grim

Honestly what you've explained there is nothing to what get flung about on what's app on a daily basis.

Since last week we've had a woman with a Container unit on top of her, a guy with his face hooked on the front of train, a big collage of clips with people being run over and some guy getting stoned to death with breeze blocks.

It's madness. The porn stuff is a different matter all together.

I grimmest death one of late was the Japanese factory worker getting pulled through an armoured cable winding machine. His mate panicked when he snagged but sped the machine up by mistake! Poor fucker went straight in and got swung around for about 2 mins till the machine packed in.

Awful shit everyday public shouldn't be seeing.

With regards the Japanese one

At what point did someone decide to get there phone out to video it?

Or who the hell decided the cctv footage should be released?

It was a CCTV video.

Not many get to me but that did. There was one of a bloke being sucked in and whizzed round a fan type machine too.

Grim. Didn't enjoy the camel one either :(

True enough. Funny thing is I've been asked numerous times to describe my seizures by medical chaps- daft thing is I've never seen it and can't remember anything. Relying on observations of others, so a quick vid might have been a good thing with hindsight.
