He thinks we showed too much respect in the early games this season and we are better than our position. By Jove he's nailed it! I think our current position is bang on for the team we have. I don't we had about 10-11 games with 1/2 a squad with just Vela and Ameobi fit all season we'd be at least 5-6 points better off and in 16/17th position hopefully that's where we end up. He first went in 1938 and up until he had to stop going he was at nigh on every home game including being on the embankment on the day of the disaster. Â He was definitely at every home game (give or take the odd night game as he got older) since I started going in 92 Â I always remember his bewilderment as we went round the reebok on the open day before it first opened at the massive leap from burnden to the new place.
