NgWhat is?

Iles on his wind up missions, Ken on his public arguments, or a jocular comment from me based on their respective retorts.

Iles may have his own agenda and that's for him to live with.

Ken, despite his obvious efforts and some successes is increasingly causing some concern with his methodology.

Sadly, I'm losing interest in it all, it's neverending. I do wonder what would have happened had we gone into administration earlier and started again; may have been better in the long run.

Is exactly where I (and a number of other season ticket holders) am at the moment. Normally the football would outshine the behind the scenes shit, sadly it's as bad on the pitch as on it.

I pay for 2 season tickets by DD so am doing my bit in supportIng the club, the effort of going a "home" game is just too much at the moment, as can't sit and listen to some of the shit spouted from others (possibly Trust brigade or Twitter Twats) end  up wanting to tell them to fuck off.

We need a new owner / investor (quick), KA is the only way of us achieving this, whatever your thoughts are without KA we are fucked. The Trust have less money or means and are purely a "noise" in the background.

it ain't rocket science.

If there was no ACV Ken could sell the stadium, pocket the money and put the club under, in fact that could have been his plan A.

I do not always agree with the ST but I praise them for getting the stadium listed as an ACV.

The ST has asked ken to remove barriers to a sale.

The ACV is a barrier to a sale.

Rinse & repeat.

Is it though? I’d say it isn’t a barrier at all, plenty clubs have been sold with an ACV, the ACV only allows notification of sale of the asset before the asset is sold and gives the trust or the community the option to purchase the stadium before any other interested parties, should the trust or community not have the wherewithal then the owner of the club can still sell the asset.  Any how why would any potential owner with the club at heart want to sell the stadium anyhow?

I’d suggest the barrier to the sale of the club is the asking price.

What's the asking price?

Same here, two season tickets, and no interest.

The acv does fcuk all positive in the scheme of things

Yes, the intention to sell has to be announced, but there is no requirement for the owner to sell to anybody

The high net werthers could bid a billion more than anybody else and the owner could still sell to another bidder

How do you know that? Has KA stated that?

If so, it;s too much.

https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/15579837.for-sale-bolton-wanderers-available-for-25million/

The £25m package includes total ownership of the Macron Stadium, 40-acre training ground at Lostock, Whites Hotel and Premier Suite.

The company will be sold with no structured debt and just normal trade creditors outstanding.

There was a rumour KA pockets £5M or so of this and that this had been a stumbling block to previous interest (in fact, it was Casino who told me)

Ta

That's all well and good, but whoever buys will need to run the whole shitshow as well, which I assume runs into several million per month?

You're talking £100million minimum to keep it afloat for a couple of years. With zero return.

Wouldn't want that task.

I'm not sure about that

I'm certain KA doesn't put in several millions a month

and he talked about the club making a "small profit" this year, though not sure if that took into account unpaid bills, wages and bonuses

Is there no nortgagae on the stadium/training grounds/hotel ?

If not, I suppose that makes it  a bit more attractive.

Trouble is, even if we get someone in who's pretty good at managing a business, the mongotrons will still want them to be spending millions on the squad.

Even an arab billionaire would upset some of our lot.

Just seen a Facebook page and folk are cancelling season ticket dd that’s really going to help

im struggling to find any motivation to go home games but still pay

Aye not helpful at all.

If Ken decides he's had enough and withdraws then administration is the most likely outcome. Do those people realise the implications of that?
