What was the protest about back in the Premier days with the paper planes being thrown on the pitch at a set time?  Memories although hazy was it totalled about 4 or 5, none actually reaching the playing surface

Was that not just folk taking the piss out of Munich?

What makes you think James and Warburton have any interest in running a football club

Whatever it is, you're wrong

Fuck me

why do Warburtons get brought up every time takeovers are mentioned?

if they were going to do it, they’d have done so when Phil Neal was manager. Their involvement is a token gesture and nothing more - and there isn’t a single reason why they should piss their hard earned away on the local team.

even the thickest cunts have worked out that the club needs money. If they all just bought a hat or a shirt, or turned up when they could, it would make a MASSIVE difference to the clubs welfare.

Not everyone can afford every game, or even many games, but don’t rattle on about cash when you tip the sum total of fucking zero into the pot, whilst lining the premier league with your sky subscription.

Any contribution is welcome, and a bit of positivity from the loudest voice the club will ever have can only be a good thing.

by the way, I realised yesterday that my son has a beanie hat with BWFO on it so they can more or less fuck off. But I’m the exception not the rule, right?

Here’s a Novel idea Roger. Why don’t all of these Noble, upstanding pillars of our community swing it to action, tap in to the endless contacts both locally and nationally they no doubt have and put a plan together to remove this tyrant or worst case scenario, work with him and support him and his work to protect and preserve the towns crown jewel which they quite clearly cannot bear to see struggle..

no, they pop their head above the parapit chucking pointless and unnecessary shit at the situation.

use your super powers for good rather than evil oh powerful ones. I don’t just mean the 2 split arses either. Any mouthpiece who has taken pot shot

It’s not a deluded attempt to defend anyone. I’m not happy with KA and I’m not saying he’s done right.

You don’t say why their views are of relevance or help the situation?

As for “decent”, they were career politicians and party whips respectively - really known for being above board, ethical and transparent aren’t they? Now I don’t know if that’s fair on these 2 and I don’t give a shit, just like I don’t give a shit about what they think of BWFC.....as nobody sane would.

Don’t remember them from any aways in the last 30 years either?

It just helps drive the BN agenda......but if their opinion influences your mind then fair enough, that’s your right

Let’s have it right we can’t organise a piss up in a brewery at the best of times

And sky will ask all of them for their opinion as 'bolton fans'

Whilst I’m whining

Ken is way out of his depth, even he will know that.

But if there ARE any potential buyers, big crowds of insanely, against-all-the-odds supporters backing the team might give the sales brochure a bit of gloss.

people say “what can we do?” And think chucking a fucking tennis ball will sort it.

it really really won't.

A backs to the wall, fuck everyone else, stadium full of Pisscans, excited kids and weary old cunts waving a scarf is what’s needed, not a load of whining.

so there.

IIRC Davies was trying to offload the club for years, and the best offer he got was Ken/Holdsworth.

Exactly. James, Warburton and the Davies’ don’t want to run a football club. They’ve helped the club massively with finance but Sweaty ( with DH) was the only act in town.

If Ken knows he can't afford to run the club for a year without another Cardiff donation, and that even Warnock's not daft enough to throw brass at any of our current squad, maybe Doidge was a last minute shit or bust. If he hits the ground running and scores a few, we flog him for a few million. If not, we can't afford him either way.

Still think it's easier if we agree everyone's a cnut and stop rowing about it.

Replying to your point in general, not arguing against you but I thought the EFL had some rule or other whereby they are informed/assured by the clubs before the season starts that they have the financial resources to complete the season in full?

If this being so I highly doubt KA would have been so desperate as to take a punt on knowingly not going to pay for what even was his presumably fifth choice striker at the outset of the season knowing full well if his financial forecasts showed him to run out of money before even the half way part of the season?

(I assume Wyke, Nugent, Gardner and possibly even Magennis were the first three/four names on his desired striker list before Doidge).

If so I think it highly unlikely that his plan was to shaft FGR from the outset and the intention was to sign Doidge on the appointed day as agreed (3rd Jan) and pay an instalment of £250,00 (maybe even from his pocket knowing he could take it back a couple of weeks later from the Sky money).

Maybe that thinking changed when he realised that the club was put in embargo and actually prevented from him signing perhaps?

I think myself that despite everything the monies from the EFL a week tomorrow(?) would be sufficient for him to carry on - with all the football creditors being squared off, until his next big hurdle (of which we are aware of anyway) being the HMRC winding up petition on the hotel or the repayment of the £5 million plus interest to Moonshift.

Just my thinking on the matter.

You do recall correctly

Gartside had said for a good few years that the club was up for sale if anyone wanted to buy it. Then the ED money dried up and the sale became more urgent. Still no fucker came forward.

Just before we were liquidated Holdsworth appears then brings Anderson in too and puts a halt to liquidation proceedings.

Since then Ken has made no secret that he wants to sell.

The club has been available to buy since the Prem days and no cunt has wanted it to the extent of actually putting in a decent offer. Even Garty had a few tyre kickers in.

Nine minute interview on BBC Radio Manchester yesterday with Karl Holbrook Editor of the Bolton News.

Starts about 11 mins 40 secs in.

Basically he's obviously told Bonner and Iles to cut out the personal stuff and keep it professional (which it should have been all the time).  He's asked KA of examples where he believes he's been wronged but no specific examples have been given (clearly Bonners 'worst possible result for the Anderson's' is there for all to see but most for Iles shit stirring was done far more subtlety on twitter by the 'liking' of derogatory comments about the Anderson's by others, so without trawling Twitter for countless hours to find them, making them much more difficult to prove).

Holbrook doesn't claim the paper got everything right - and is willing to publish apologies where they've got it wrong - but need to know the things KA took issue over to do so.

Stated that the club was not very forthcoming on commenting to the BN (or Radio Manchester the host added) so not all angles may be covered properly and hence why these mistakes could have been possibly made.

He wants the BN to report the news of what's happening to the club - despite the lack of official comment from it - in a professional way and for the reporters to keep their personal feelings and frustrations to themselves.

He sung the praises of Iles but his absence of similar praise in respect of Bonner was extremely noticeable.

He hoped the club and Bolton News could work more closely together in future as both will hopefully be going strong a long time into the future after he has moved on from the paper.

Holbrook does though strongly think that the 'attack' on Iles and Banner as more to do with distracting people away from the clubs financial difficulties.

All in all I thought it was a fair and reasonable interview from Mr Holbrook.

He was given a somewhat easy ride though by his fellow media colleague who hosted the show as nothing for instance was discussed about Bonners 'worst result for the Anderson's' comment!

Apparently Bonnar and Iles were originally going to be interviewed but clearly Holbrook thought best to keep them away and do the interview himself.  Smart move too.

Getting a minibus down to FGR so they can all suck off a vegan. It's properly weird.

Yep

It will be the same nonces who no doubt were tweeting Lee Anderson months ago begging for retweets and likes because they bought a replica shirt.

I think you've misrepresented it. Anderson has been given opportunity after opportunity to explain where he thinks the paper has reported inaccurate pieces...yet has failed to do so. And cancelled meetings to discuss it.

Anderson claims lies as a cover up for the problems at the club. And spends his time attacking others rather than answering concerns.

People tweeting FGR asking about possible coach travel down to it now. The fuck is going on here, I'm sorry but where are these people pulling together to do crazy things like buy tickets to watch their own fucking team, or if unwilling to put money in "his" pocket, club together and get to some aways independently.

There's a lot the FGR guy has said I've agreed with and felt liberated to be hearing from a football chairman in last couple of days but we're making ourselves look as weak as a follow up wank here.

Bizarre attention seeking fuckery this.

So, Vince Prince has got a shit load of good free PR out of us and now he wants Bolton fans to prop up his own team's poor home attendances? And morons will travel there, pay £25 and watch shite for a free pie?

Sounds like a lot of time, effort and money for 6 kids to go and shout Fuck The Andersons for 10 minutes. I hope that the small number of travelling Bury fans kick the shit out of any Bolton fan there.
