My thoughts exactly.

I'm no fan of Ken since he said he doesn't give a fuck what happens to the club but unless we get bought out I don't see any alternative.

Do you think he said it?  Even if he did he was not being threatened by Vegan Vance and not getting his own two-penneth in.  If he makes a success of us he sells for over £25m, if he doesnt he gets £5m.  I personally dont always believe the 1st person that opens their mouths and im quite happy with KA's version of things.  Doesnt mean im happy how behind the scenes are, but thats not my worry anyhow.

Lets say there will 12,000 Bolton fans at the game be good to know how many they are expecting to join the protest. Just hope they remember not joining the protest does not mean you love Ken.

True, this protest is too tame to achieve anything

A personal visit to Ken's home  when he isn't expecting it with like- minded others would be more to my taste

When Rio Ferdinand received a similar home visit from several fans for discussions about his failed urine test he began to show more respect to Manchester United.

Im not suggesting violence just a "good chat" about the values  expected at the football club

I suspect he did, but he may have his reasons aside from not caring. Maybe he was calling his bluff?

Either way I hope he's successful as if he is its good for the club. The behind the scenes stuff is important as it must have an impact on the performances is the pitch. Plus we need reinforcements.

I'm not convinced it was said how Dale reports it. I mean, Dale hasn't got an agenda here, has he?

it was probably an off the cuff bravado outburst. We've all said things we don't actually mean if it gets to piss someone off we're arguing with.

Dale wanted cash early, KA said 'no its no what we agreed', Dale spat the dummy out and recalled HIS player.

KA didnt send him back, they told their employee to return.  Bollocks to them and their chairman i say.

If BWFC goes out of existence then there is an extra promotion spot from both Leagues One and Two. This increases FGR's chances of getting an automatic promotion place (and also increases their chances of a play-off place).

So Anderson thinks "fuck you" and walks, then what?

I've wondered that, and frankly don't know.

As owner, he'd still have responsibility, whether he wanted it or not.

Presumably, club employees would continue to do their jobs; just don't know how financial issues are undertaken- does Ken authorise payments personally, or does he just tell whoever not to pay a bill when it suits him to delay it?

There is no board as such, so fuck knows to be honest.

If no one bought the business and it couldn’t pay its creditors wouldnt it go into liquidation? That’s if money to run it in admin wasn’t forthcoming.

to walk away, either he or a creditor puts it into admin

ken has no further influence

but he could look to buy it back

our biggest immediate issue is that the cash will soon run out so without somebody to take up the slack, we go bust

Yes I can see that- a formal leaving.

I wasn't sure the question was as if ken just upped sticks and pissed off back to Switzerland without doing anything formally. A sort of  'ah bollocks to it all'  attitude.

Not that I think he would, just what I read the question as.

However, if Dale was paying Doidge's wages because SK couldn't afford to - he was probably getting a bit suspicious/nervous/concerned about not receiving the initial £250K payment from Bolton. Guess we don't know the truth in this. Has Dale responded about asking for the money earlier than first agreed?

I don't think he has responded to Ken since, but on Monday he said that (after we'd failed to pay on time) he and Ken initially reached a different agreement to 'accommodate' us, before Ken called back to say that was off too.

It's quite possible that the new agreement would've involved pushing the initial payment back, but bringing others forward. Which would be helping us out with our short-term cash flow issues, or using the situation to squeeze more money out of us quicker, depending on whether you are Dale or Ken.

Not as i know, i reckon theyll both keep stump now until any court case.  KA said Dale wanted the August payment early, which wasnt agreed, i doubt we'll hear anything for a bit about this.

Yeah ok but I'm not speaking on their behalf, perhaps that's a better way of describing it

???

But you are though - why else is your name prominent on the call for the fan protest march and walk out from (let's be honest) the only proper site involved (the rest are more or less one man band efforts - including Burnden Aces) calling for the protest?

You put your name to the initial 'protest call' as well!

Surely you are either involved 'officially' and that's why your name is there, or not and presumably your name should not be being shown - which if so makes one wonder how many other names are 'fake' also?

A call to action

We have an update to Monday's statement

Fair enough.

I just would like an answer as to what people would replace him with, in a similar vein to the Parky out brigade, who do we replace him with?

I'd quote you Sluffy but there's too much there. I support it yeah but I'm not speaking for that website or any website.

You are shown as one of the authors so you must be speaking for the website.

If you are not then your name should not be there.

Presumably you will be asking for a printed apology from that site and your name being removed from both articles.

Perhaps T-shirts could be printed on your behalf with a slogan of No Love LoV, perhaps?

Sluffy I won't be doing that because I have a life.

As for how it'll pan out then I think we both know that he'll end up being alright but our future is just as murky. I don't see anyone queuing up to pick us up from the floor than another version of Ken.

Suppose Bamber Bridge FC is only a couple of miles down the road from me otherwise.
