I once did a quick tot up of the most well known generous football 'benefactors' (Jack Walker, Abramovic etc) investment as a percentage of their reported net worth (I'm proper sad me). Can't remember what it was now but it was small - think 5%-10% ish. If we need say £5-£10m per year to keep the lights on, even without investment in transfer fees we'd need someone worth min £250m to keep us going for the next few years.
