Ani
Where in Leeds/Bradford ? It makes a massive difference. Top of Bradford and and you are on M62 in 5 minutes. North east Leeds can be pushing an hour.

Ani
Customers all over both mate. Ok getting in and out of Leeds at rush hour is a pig as so much goes down the M621. I currently work in the centre and traffic is incredibly quiet as most gets directed round the loop roads. Depends where you are coming from but going up the M61 and then across on the M65 and into Yorkshire via Colne ain’t the worst idea for meetings in the Skipton/Ilkley area. If you could plan your day to start Bradford side and work across would easier. The never ending roadworks on the 62 actually mean the traffic might be slow but keeps going. However as soon as any type of accident it goes to shut very quickly.

tomski
Thanks Ani. Haven't seen my list yet but I'll work it out from there. I'd be jumping on the motorway from kearsley so will be mainly m62 depending on where I'm going
Moderators Carlos Posted December 13, 2017 Moderators Share Posted December 13, 2017 The M60 opens up and the roadworks move up the M62. Madness!
birch-chorley
I’ve to be in Leeds city centre for a 9am tomorrow Can’t see anything other than a 6am start getting me there in good time from Chorley I usually do the M65, grain road, M66 then M62 but might swerve the grain road if temperatures drop

Northender
Slightly off topic but saw yesterday traffic lights are going up at end of slip road from northbound M6 to m62 east. Don't think I've ever been in bad congestion there, bit of a strange plan especially as one lane from slip road becomes m62 inside lane. Yes it is pretty shit as I can currently start in Bolton at 9:30am. Some benefits to balance the negatives though. I'm hoping a year maximum

Ani
Sutton looks a nice little place. It is. Classed as North Yorkshire so Skipton rather than Keighlry for schools. Just over the border and with a hospital nearby so both sides used to send gritters out at winter so never cut off. Easy to get to the match as well via M65.
