Ive a bundle of old VHS tapes that id like to put onto DVD and a fair few compilation tapes of theirs that I meant to buy but never got round to. plus the old Battles against Wolves are well worth having the full matches of. Blondi
I remember one of the roadrunner videos, that showed all of our goal highlights for the entire season when we played in the old division 4, (Wrexham away season) might have it in the loft, I'll have a look! Duck Egg
I remember one of the roadrunner videos, that showed all of our goal highlights for the entire season when we played in the old division 4, (Wrexham away season) might have it in the loft, I'll have a look! I had that but think it was just the last 10 games or so. The father in law had the 86-87 relegation season up to Xmas. Might have to see if I can get that converted to dvd
DazBob
Iirc on the video of the orangle White Hot, mid-commentary Dave Higson says "mind that wire, mate" ... and then sound is suddenly lost for 30 seconds or so. Superb. Skimmer and Baddiel loved him and often played snippets on Fantasy Football.
Northender
Start of Sherpa van final he spends first minute testing the mic, could have done that before kick off Dave!
DavidLeesMullet
Aaah, this subject takes me back a bit, a lot of good memories. Whilst I was working at a car firm in Nottingham, the receptionist, who's husband was a Wanderers fan, loaned me and my mate a video of the 1990/91 season. What I remember most about it most was the grainy quality footage of the matches (The ones that the cameras were allowed to film at that is), and the first time that we were exposed to the legend that was Dave Higson (Or 'Higgy' as he was known at Burnden Park),!!!. By the way if anybody's got copies of any of the videos on DVD, I'd be very interested in buying them.
Krimzon
As a 'bonus' for buying the match game away at wrexham there was a 45 minute section on the team coach after the game which was highly amusing .

Superb. Skimmer and Baddiel loved him and often played snippets on Fantasy Football. Yep I’ve got that video and Dave Higson had to commentate from the stand at Anfield. On a couple of occasions he does say “mind them wires, cock”
