And for anyone who says see what he’s like if he has money to spend, he did at hull and failed

History proves the championship is too much for him

Point one

I've had a look at what hull spent and 06/ 07 they made a profit on transfers so he was hardly spunking oil money

2 He had more games in the championship last year than in his two previous spells combined and he was successful against any reasonable measure

Just remember that parky knew full well what he was coming into in terms of money.

On that basis there may be others who would too; especially as ken is gradually stabilising the club.

In a way I'd love PP to prove me wrong and start to advance the club. He has done what was hoped, but if he was to stay here would have to get results quickly; there's no way crowds would continue to accept the dross which has frequently been served up.

Personally I'm for a change.

Ken's not stupid however, and he also seems quite loyal; so whatever decision he makes I'd be pretty happy with as he should be best placed to make the decision that's in the best interests of the club.

He’s achieved this seasons goal......however I would change if we can find the right replacement. I don’t like the stubbornness or freezing out of players and randomly bringing them back. Sunday was ridiculous to start with wilbraham up front. It paid off when we brought alf on. Before that it was shite.

And while we are at it, he somehow turned madine into somebody we got over 5 million for

That in itself earns him another year

The club isn’t having to sell anything that isn’t nailed down anymore, and I don’t think it’s the thankless task it could’ve been viewed as 2 years ago. PP still made the move for God’s sake

Some relatively successful lower league / smaller club managers would think they’d won the lottery to be able to work with our apparent peasant budget & managers / coaches have egos just as big as players these days. They all think they can take a job on and improve a team otherwise they wouldn’t take the gig. Irrespective of where it is in the league, players they have etc

No clear name jumps out as a front runner. However there would be a queue around the ground of willing applicants

I’m guessing hull and Charlton were in financial positions to boot him hence why he didn’t last long

Regarding money I never said he spunked money at hull just that some would like to give him ago if we cane into some, I was pointing out he has in the past

Can't argue with that. What concerns me is that the current buzz will fade, and there may well be a drop in season ticket sales unless ken can produce some cash from somewhere for pp who may possibly re-enthuse fans with signings.

If it doesn't materialise then a new manager may help ease concerns.

I can see both sides of the argument. Spent nothing on transfers so very restricted on the calibre of players. We have played a lot of negative football, our away form is shameful. So I could blame the players and the manager?

As has been said, if we get some meaningful investment, that may come with a decision on the manager too. In the last 8 or so games, we generally froze whilst our rivals at the bottom rallied. Could PP have introduced a couple of younger players from our successful kids teams?

It's tough though so I'm 70% out,30% in.

Parky out for me

Largely supportive of him on the whole but Burton away was a disgrace

The team he put out and the way he set them up was nothing short of bonkers, I fail to see how that’s a manager who can take us forward long term

The Forest line up was nearly right, Wilbraham was a fucking bizarre one though. No surprise for me that our three goals came when ALF was on the pitch (1 goal and 2 assists for ALF)

I’ve no longer got any confidence in Parky’s abillity to pick the right side, has to go for me

Casino surely in your fully up yourself belief you can’t be happy at the random freezing and unfreezing of players in the team

I don't care who gets frozen out

I think there were some odd selections but we got there and that's all that matters

Hardly any other videos of this season worth a second look.

There's plenty highlights I'd be happy seeing

Just about every point was hard won

Depends if your some sort of loon who judges everything by super fucking Sunday standards

Me, I'm happy busting our bollocks for a nil nil at Norwich

Each to their own, mind

I love how people are still complaining about Wilbraham starting even though it was clearly the right move. Before the game I said it was to have a presence up front to allow Le Fondre to come on fresh and effect the game.

Le Fondre is best off the bench. It was a hot day and the plan worked brilliantly.

When it mattered Parky ignored the fans and their inevitable whinging. Made the right call and took the difficult decision and it got us over the line.

I’d never listen to fans about managerial appointments after Coyle. Set the club back ten years if not more listening to the screaming mob. Ken knows what he’s doing. I will let him get on with it.

I think Parky is safe as houses as should be unless the ownership changes then all bets are off.

Hardly a screaming mob is it ffs

Stop being hysterical

If starting Wilbraham in order to give us a ‘presence up front’ whilst not scoring goals then bringing ALF off the bench to get the goals was such an obvious plan then why the fuck did he wait until May to try it out?

Master plan my arse
