Ditto - struggled through to the end of what is out so far out of a compulsive need to finish what I start, but it gets really lost in the last few books, characters wondering aimlessly. Die hard fans hate the TV show dictating the plot past the end of the books, but from where he's left the books, if he ever does finish them it will only be with outside help giving him an end point to target. The TV series had a few soft spots after a strong start, but seems to be rounded itself to an entertaining finish, and means I won't need to slog through any more of his prose if he does release something.
