Mounts Kipper
There's been an escobar playing. Plenty of cash floating around in South America The numbers are so big I’m wondering if it’s state sponsored. There seems to be more South Americans than Europeans. Leyther_Matt
There was an article last week on the BBC website about Peruvians remortgaging their houses, selling their cars, quitting their jobs etc just to be there.

There seems to be more South Americans than Europeans. Did wonder myself if some sort of stuff scheme going on. In fairness it's great to see, very colourful and plenty of noise. Reckon some of the European numbers are down for obvious political/nationalistic reasons; in fairness it seems to have been unfounded. So far. madthatter
A lot of wealthy folk in South America Your either rich or poor Aye I'd imagine the poor ones could only dream of having cars to sell. There's many folk here that couldn't afford to go to the world cup thinly veiled 'im skint'
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted June 26, 2018 Site Supporter Share Posted June 26, 2018 (edited) Ive been thinking about the world cup coming back here and upon reflection decided not thanks. The BBC would not be allowed to show the shots of attractive women in the crowd, and if they did, there'd be a discussion in parliament and 50,000 munters descending upon Wembley with pink hair, whistles, pans and chop/drum sticks. I am sure the beautiful women they focus on are plants / paid models . They all have fabulous make up and when on camera go through a range of poses and emotions. Some are dressed in national costume ...as if ???????? Missed the England v pub team on Sunday so I didn't notice who they focussed on for england
