famouswanderer
Birmingham (H) Middlesbrough (A) Forest (H) All listed as wednesday nights? Are we expecting this to be right? Wednesdays would be a right pain in the arse for me. Tuesdays ideal

Traf
Midweeks are a pain full stop Correct, made worse by 8pm kickoffs, not good for anyone with kids.
stevieb
Don't worry, Sky are putting them all on the Red Button so there'll be no one there apart from the #superfans
famouswanderer
Correct, made worse by 8pm kickoffs, not good for anyone with kids. Good for me though to be honest. Gives me an extra bit of leeway to get up from the midlands after work
jimmyjoojar
Correct, made worse by 8pm kickoffs, not good for anyone with kids. Anyone know why kick-offs times have to be at 8pm? Always struck me a daft given that all clubs want kids coming to the game. On a school night its just a massive ballache Edited August 14, 2018 by jimmyjoojar
famouswanderer
Does it really matter if kids are getting to bed 15 minutes later than they would with a 7.45 kick off?? Note - I dont have kids so prepared to be shot down

Yep, seconded. For the life of me i can't see why we couldn't kick off at 7.30 or even 7pm?
radcliffe white
By the time the bus gets off the car park and away it does make a difference, seemed in no rush to get away on Saturday

They are all 7.45 or 8. 7 oclock is ridiculous and would mean those that travel would probably miss out
Marc505
Forest are kicking off against Bury in the cup at 19:30 which seems really unusual, all the other games are 19:45 or 20:00 tonight.

mannyroad58
I'm sure we changed our kick off time to 8 o'clock to allow people to get home from work in time to get to the game
Leyther_Matt
The midweek games are being spread across the Tuesday and Wednesday to link in with the red button Sky thing to spread the TV ratings out a bit basically. I'm sure we changed our kick off time to 8 o'clock to allow people to get home from work in time to get to the gamePart of the planning being approved for the stadium wasn’t it because of concerns with adding extra traffic to the M61 commuters. captainmed
Red button, few beers and a take-away. FOC, no traffic in sight and in bed for 10. Fair play to those who will continue to go though, when they now have that option.
L/H White
Red button means more streams for pubs to show it and people to stop at home Be less than 8k on for league games midweek
