If we had two up top today it would have been a cricket score. We do not have the squad nor ability to accommodate two up fucking top. The above was a rant but here is the question who are the two that most are calling to be played and who would be sacrificed in midfield to allow this to happen? If Sheff U can play 2 up top away from home and still look like they have twice as many midfielders, then it's not unreasonable to think, as the home side we could do it occasionally? They play 3-5-2. A system we played numerous times last year but one that definitely doesn’t suit us. Our threat is our wingers. Ameobi, Wildschut, Noone do not fit in a 3-5-2. Ameobi, Wildschut, Noone do not fit in a 3-5-2. Wasn’t even 2 out and out strikers then. birch-chorley Posted August 26, 2018 Share Posted August 26, 2018 I wasn’t there yesterday but plenty of people on the match thread are pointing to two or even three of our central midfields having little or no impact on the game If that’s correct, then I doubt it would have been a cricket score by switching one of them for another forward Then again, we only have Donaldson worthy or the role so it’s not like we have loads to go even if we did want to go with two I’d imagine we are looking at bringing one in on loan, hopefully more useful than say a Tyler Walker type Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
