Did Hobbs play left side when Wheater came on?

If so, that could be the biggest thing coming out of today

He did and they looked very solid. To be fair Wilson looked good too before the harsh sending off. I’d have Hobbs or Wilson over Beevers any day, Wilson especially can put his foot on the ball.

Grounds looks to be getting better, albeit against a weaker winger but I’d say today and Boro shows he’ll be alright.

We never looked in trouble, but never looked a threat, Wheaters blocked shot would have made it the perfect smash and grab.

Good point, would have won it with Ameobi, they’re shit, move on.

I have a feeling we’ve got a squad that’s more together and gutsier than we’ve had in a fair while.

lacking in quality somewhat so I think we’ll get the odd humping, but I reckon we will ground out enough to stay up and have the odd good win with the quality of Ameobi etc.

Got to be happy with that today and it should help confidence onwards too. Hopefully even the drama queens screaming Parky and the Anderson’s out midweek can appreciate a battling performance and result like today?

Just watched Parkinson’s interview after the match. The man looks tired. Clearly been through a lot these past few months. Especially last few weeks. What a leader, what a man and proud to have the guy at Bolton!!

He’s been to Ipswich twice in a week. Can almost get to New Zealand in the time it takes to get there!

I think we're beyond the point for some of wanting Parky out, regardless of what happens.

I don't know what a manager would have to do to have unanimous support.
