For the record, I've never had any business dealings with captainmed. I hardly know the bloke and he certainly doesn't know me or my business. It's not the best review I've had, but you can't win

Regarding about police checks mentioned yesterday..

seen this morning that GMP mainly came out to do checks as public health England couldn’t get hold of people in quarantine after a number of attempts

Just answer your phone to PHE you be reet

When they rang us it was on the landline even though we had given the mobiles as the main number, like you say just answer thr phone and avoid a knock at the door and maybe a fine. They don't have enough manpower to keep doing checks so we were expecting a phone call at some point.

Spot on.

The more folk that toss it off, the quicker the country heads towards much stricter restrictions, perhaps with no holidays like before.

At least we know where everybody is

World leading, ie we will send a bloke round to knock on your door

How much did that cost, again?

This is how they do it in Sydney.

A few hundred million for a call centre in north London.

Then asking the police to follow up.

Its theft.

Certainly more robust down under. Police etc turned up with fencing and sealed one estate.

Can imagine the reaction to that here.

It’s against my Human Rights innit.

Try getting into Cyprus, you need a cv19 test 72 hours before arriving, obviously a negative test, then download a fit to fly certificate, then upload your test to it before you can get on the plane And checked again on arrival.

nightmare

Cheers Victor, our problem is that we are flying at 3pm on a Sunday and like you say we would need to have the test after 3pm on the Thursday and then hope we get the FTF certs back in time.

Just got back from Portugal and social distancing there isn't the best, the hotel didn't know what they were doing as in do I wear a mask or do I not? great break though and red hot. Back at Manchester Airport the Border Force people weren't interested in the passenger locator forms we had filled in on our phones.
