Thinking about my time, there've been great players (Djorkaeff, Anelka etc) and players I've loved like Super John, David Lee etc - but would they be the 'best' or just bring fond memories. Players out of position and sub par players. That said thinking about it as he's now regular for Spain and Chelsea should have gone for Marcos Alonso. He was on his way out til Sam stumbled on the fact he was a good fit in the Campo role for the latter half of the season. By that standing Peter Shilton should be in nets.
