Moderators Casino Posted December 8, 2018 Moderators Share Posted December 8, 2018 Bar the forced change, I'd stick with this Ameobi replacement, Magennis or the dwaf
DazBob
Best we've played in ages and we deserved something. Ameobi was superb today, but ultimately a daft choice has cost us what would've been a brilliant point. Wonder f he'll get fined a week's wages. Site Supporter victor meldrew Posted December 8, 2018 Author Site Supporter Share Posted December 8, 2018 We played really well, Ameobi was stupid for fouling the bloke , referee couldn’t wait to send him off. You just knew they would score. for once, well played Bolton

Once we'd got back to 2-2, I had a terrible feeling.. Ah well, I'll take solace in an improved display and a couple of goals.
DomRepWanderer
Best we've played in ages that, begs the question if we played that well against Millwall, Sheff Wed and Wigan we'd have pissed all over them, loads of positives though. The problem I see is that if he had let the player run through we'd have been shouting that Amoeba ought to have pulled him down. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. DazBob
Ameobi easily would've been able to catch him had he not pulled him. It was daft.
Moderators Casino Posted December 8, 2018 Moderators Share Posted December 8, 2018 Only seen a very short clip You say ameobi could've easily dealt with him Could he, really I dunno but it's 90 minutes in and I don't know what he had left Either way, it still looks very harsh on the bit I saw
radcliffe white
Ameobi has form for shit back tracking and conceding fouls

It wasn't that type of situation though, it's not as if the player was about to have a clean run on goal It was in their half and he wasn't anything like the last man It was just a stupid thing to do when already on a yellow  Edited December 8, 2018 by ZicoKelly

marple whites
Let's be fair, what did we expect from this? they have won 7 at home this season. they have scored 4 last minute winners. however, give a stupid foul in injury time and they can lump it in our box, believe we should have had a foul in the run up to the foul, we lump it into their corner and we get a point. small margins, but results went for us. we are getting no luck, but howeve we played and whatever the luck, we have lost again and we can't keep glossing over this fact. ameobi out next week and for me, the only player capable of something special. brentford on a bad run, but they will be eyeing up who is on the horizon in a fortnight  and rubbing their hands !! Be a great day out though...........

passmosster
They say that refs decisions even out over the season. Well we need a awful lot going for us in the second half for that to be true.
Duck Egg
I thought Ameobi was well off his usual performance today, however, I saw it that he had to make an attempted tackle because ONeill needlessly lost possession. At 2-2 they were down and flat and I wanted us to go for the winner.Williams (who had been excellent) received the ball and immediately launched it towards the corner flag. Perhaps giving us some respite but in effect surrendering possession
