Our next manager

Regardless of the football served up by the man I cannot help but be impressed by him as a person. All kinds of nonsense at the club with him and colleagues not being paid. A club he is highly thought of are looking for a manager and he has maintained a professional approach. I have even heard stories that he doesn’t think bailing on The Wanderers and the staff at this time would be appropriate. All conjecture I know but whatever happens when he eventually leaves this club, unless something ridiculous happens, I will be proud he was once our manager.

Totally agree. I often questioned his decisions etc. but the man himself and the way he has conducted himself in such circumstances....just impressive. Have a +1

I will continue to bang the drum for Nathan Jones until he's gone to a bigger club than us. Surely the next Dean Smith or Eddie Howe in terms of transforming clubs if not style of play. Also a shout out for Gareth Ainsworth, another proven manager consistently over achieving on a budget and the type of character you would gladly have in charge of your team.

Well I won't be banging that drum any more will I. Opportunity missed but clearly getting a new manager is way down our list of priorities for the foreseeable.

Sorry but in what way would that be good at all? We're a mess as it is without losing the manager and his team.

Its the way forward being proposed by some of our knowledgable fans, no owner, no manager, not many players.

What could go wrong?

Changing manager is not something to contemplate right now IMO.

Whatever you think about Parky he is managing to keep some sort of normality going.

Regardless of that, Forest will not be considering Parky anytime soon.

Therefore, I find the post you made about the Forest job silly.

Ok, we'll agree to differ on Parky.

I hope he stays until the end of the season, we don't need that sideshow now.

he footy is obviously dirge and KA isn't sacking him anyway

but with what has gone on and come out this week I'd have to acknowlege our best chance of staying is probably with him, rather than without (so long as he starts to set the team up more like he did 2nd half v Walsall)

Some fans like our manager, some perceive he is our only option, sorry i ain't one of them and i class myself as quite knowledgeable.

Without getting in to the Parky debate and tit for tat crap because of what is happening at our club at the moment, i have seen enough of PP and his way of playing turgid football to know otherwise.

Its a bit pointless. We have no money. Whatever compensation we get for Parky will simply cover other losses. And therefore we'll have nothing to replace him with.

He's doing an absolutely remarkable job. You have to be incredibly naive to think changing the manager will not make things considerably worse given the circumstances.

Without a doubt.

He's doing a remarkable job ?? Really? Let's not discuss the shite turgid football that we have had to endure for the past 2+ seasons, and to use it as an excuse for the way the club is run is probably a bit naive on your part.

We have produced two minor miracles, it won't happen a third time.

As for being naive, really? Because my opinion differs from yours?

We're going down I agree. But are doing so regardless of the manager. How many would want to work under these circumstances?

It doesn't bear thinking about but it could be a lot worse without Parky. His greatest strength is his ability to shut out the circus and keep the players focused.

Until mathematically sure we aint going nowhere, we have yet to have our good run and im not giving up hope, even though it kills us.

I'd fancy us to stay up from here if we were normal and weren't losing players and had the ability to sign one or two this month. We aren't far away from a run. But hard to see it given the off field issues. One player who brought something different - some midfield dynamism and skill with a little end product would transform us. But as it is we've holes to plug and maybe no way to do it.

regardless of parkys position, could you really see david lee hacking it in our situation

he might one day rival ferguson, but at this stage, hed be finished by june

Is parky hacking it right now?

if he isn’t then having lee in has no negative impact?
