Yep. And most are human enough not to walk out and leave their team of coaching staff, who they have often worked with for a long time, behind to fend for themselves.

Parky isn't walking without a pay off. He knows there is no money to pay off his. or his team's contracts. There is no money to pay new staff to replace them.

He's here until we have new owners.

Aye, generally they get sacked, poached or retire

Except Wenger, he had a year left, only one I can think of though

Aye I am sure he would stay at Salford rather come to a proper football club.

Exactly. Was gonna say the same myself ffs

Don’t forget that Alexander made a right mess of it when he went to Scunthorpe, leaving Fleetwood where had plenty of dosh and free reign of the whole management of the club as part of a whole ‘project’. Can’t see why he’d leave that behind for a second time given it was obviously intriguing enough for him to take the job in the first place. Why leave behind the real life equivalent of cheating on Championship Manager to join our basket case of a club, and that’s without considering whether he’s particularly got the right experience to go from the richest club in their league to trying to polish a turd with us.

I’m not touting him just relaying what I’d heard. If Bolton came calling I’d expect him to bite our hands off.  Let’s face it Salford won’t ever be bigger than Bury.

Salford could be in the same division as Bury next season.
