Parky will be happy we only lost by one, according to Iles noone looked more dangerous when he went on the left. Mom last week and he shifts him the guys a muppet

How many games have we lost by just a single goal? It seems if we're going to go one up it needs to be in the 96th of 97 minutes.

I know, I predicted a 4 nil thrashing before the game, at least we scored a goal, so some positives to take from the game.

The positive was we scored a goal? God have we stooped that low. Time to pack it in. If we don't have a go we are going down without a fight 4-0 or 2-1 we still lost. Dry January has finished early

It feels like the early 80s all over again.

I don't remember the 80s very well thankfully. I was born December 84.

Read enough to be glad I don't though.

I'm resigned to league 1, I'll be happy to have a club to support when all's said and done.

Season won’t be decided late January but failure to be reading will go along way

I agree it's a big game

Despite my conservative nature, I'd not argue against fielding a team set up similar to the walsall one

If we can just get grabban to partner big Josh, I'd fancy us  :)

The thing that gets me is why the fuck play wingers on their opposite sides? when Noone shifted over to the left after 85 minutes we looked dangerous from his crosses, does Parkinson ever fucking learn?

Because when you play one up front, the wingers aim is not to get to the byline and cross the ball, but to come inside and shoot or thread balls through.

If you play 2 up too then wingers crossing the ball from deep or the byline works as you have two targets.

Did you never play champ man?

Bar open outside the away end so stayed for a couple of leisurely pints. Parky has only come out literally five minutes ago. Magennis was out for five past five. Not a lot you can read in to it really but the Butcombe bitter is growing on me.

Good to spend the second half with Traf.

The “it’s our fault” crew were spectacularly missing the point and all. Shame it’s all this way but empty vessels and that.

Unless we get the embargo lifted and miraculously sign 3-4 decent players including a goal scorer the seasons over right now.

I’m not usually the positive type

however my take is our league is us ,Reading ,Ipswich and Rotherham forget the rest.

we have enough to finish top of this league  providing Parkinson sorts his end out

Think we can finish above Ipswich and Rotherham, not sure about reading.

Sizeable group of fans behind the goal and on the concourse singing “its our fault” presumably taking offence for KA pointing the finger at the missing fans. You’d assume those travelling to Bristol aren’t in that category.

They were also going with the “fuck the Anderson’s” bollocks precisely at the times that the team needed the support. Fringes of the Stand certainly got behind the team and other half said the stewards had mentioned some infighting to her.

We completed 129 passes (3 were kick offs) in 96 minutes of football.

We basically passed the ball to one of our players ONCE every fucking minute.

I’m sat watching Newcastle away at Chelsea, who are meant to be miles better than them, and wondering how it is even possible to pass the ball that few times (because Newcastle are still managing to string 5 or 6 together). We were playing fucking Bristol City!

On it’s own as a stat it doesn’t mean much but you’ve not got much chance of winning a football match when you only pass to one of your own players once every minute. It’s embarrassing.

It's more than doable if we have a go, we are losing trying not to lose set up 2 up top and let's have a go for God sake, unfortunately this guy doesn't have it in him, he stumbled over a formation last week and didn't have the guts to stick with it even the bench today was dogshit. What was the average age of the bench today? It must have been 30+.

Oh yeah more the merrier to drop in but think the others Millwall Wigan etc have extra in the tanks

taken 4 off Rotherham, potentially 6 off Reading & 4 Ipswich is we beat them, it also requires winning other games but it can be done

It was just my sense of humour, don't take it seriously, we're already doomed and i'll be glad when this season is over tbh.

I would much rather us try a basic 442 formation and just give it a proper go until the end of the season, but I'm no expert and Parky is being paid sometimes to make those decisions.

No way is Parky going to play 2 up top we are going down fact only hope is that KA sacks him but we all know he can't afford it . Absolutely pissed off with Parky hes so out of his depth playing noone on the rught again knowing how good he was last week on the left

I know pal it's just so frustrating atm he's just beginning to really piss me off, he has a stubbornness about him we'd have probably got beat if we had started two up front but we'll never know

I admire your optmimism but we have no chance IMO.

The players simply arent good enough, the Manager is incompetent and when you add in all the turmoil off the pitch, this is the result.

I truly believe that we will be relegated by mid April, perhaps @ Derby like last time.

We will finish bottom of the league, of that I have little doubt.

Like Mounts said, it’s a similar feel to the 80’s.
