If your considering attending pleasy buy your tickets in advance

There has been no pay on the day for AWAY fans so far this season

can't see this being changed

Coming by road.
Do NOT USE M5/M4/M32 route and don't try to negotiate the roads and streets of Bristol
YOU WILL GET LOST
use M4 to M5 southbound to junction 18(Avonmouth) then follow signs A4 Bristol airport
It looks the long way round but its quicker.
Parking is normally in the streets around the area as long as you are there by 1pm please don't block drive ways or park on corners.

Casualty used to be filmed in the City, don't ask me about the programme as I think its rubbish
The young ones was also filmed in the BS7 area of the City(actually its Bishopston)
Finally the block of flats on the left behind the dolman stand side as you are in the away end is "the" block of flats in "fools and horses"
Pubs possibly best one are in the cumberland road basin area novia scotia pump house and the cottage.
Buy your match day programme before you enter the away end.
BBC Radio station is radio Bristol which has frequencies of BBC DAB
The other lot have the 94:9frequencey.

2017/18 season 288 bolton  fans visited ashton gate on a tuesday night
2015/16 season 760 bolton fans visited Ashton Gate
2012/13 season 1,286 bolton  fans visited Ashton Gate

If you need any further info, don't be afraid to ask
Can you please circulate on any other Bolton  forums that you think suitable

I see that FGR chairman has invited Bolton fans to his ground in the Cotswolds

Imagine trying to this after an all day session and off your pickle at 3am. Didn’t get to my hotel till 8am and passed the ground twice.

Ended up in some coucil estate with a load of little grey houses then walking through a big park to where I could see tall buildings.

Numerous duel carrigeways and an underpass as well.

One of the worst situations I’ve ever been in. Phone dead and no money :D

Was only trying to get from one premier inn to the other. I’d already got undressed and tried to get in to a room at the first one. It was the wrong hotel.

Ha ha, I tried to find my way back to the city centre that day on my own because every one fucked off at 4-0 and I stayed to the bitter end, after an hour or so walking around in circles and trying to get my bearings i luckily found my way to a city centre park and ride location it was the last bus going back into town and the driver let me on for free because no other fucker was on board he even dropped me off outside the hotel, otherwise I’d be still there now.

In the corridor of what I thought was my room. Didn’t want to wake anyone up.

The security bloke had let me in as he was having a tab outside and I just waved my card at him.

He then clocked me trying to get in my room for ages with my clothes under my arm.

Came to investigate and said this is temple meads premier inn. I was in the other across town :(

The early Wallace and Gromit stuff was done in Bristol as well. It is a really nice city IMO.

Your mention about Wallace and Gromit brings back the memory of when the studios burnt down

If your coming by train from Bath or Bristol Parkway direction

About one minute before you arrive at Bristol

on the left-hand side in  direction of travel

you can see a two  green cone type roofs approx 100 yards away

NOT THE GREEN TOP CHURCH ON THE TOP OF THE HILL

the two green cone building use to be where a lot of W and G was filmed

The stink of plasticine in the area was awful for about seven days after the fire
