Darby, Phillips, Spooner, Lee & Kelly?

Aye, but they're not like John's mate, Coyle.

To be honest, I thought McGinlay was cock-ish tonight and showed why ex-players you're fond of should keep out of stuff they don't understand.

I had to laugh when McGinlay was asked directly if he wanted the protest to lead directly to Administration for the club and the penny suddenly dropped with him as to what he could well have got himself involved in!

Obviously not the sharpest tool in the box.

As for the LoV bloke and leader of the protest on Monday speaking up loud and proud that he wanted Administration - clearly without any understanding the ramifications or even the basic requirement for someone to even fund Administration, it shows a shocking lack of naivety and comprehension of what that would mean.  Even (and I stress EVEN) Iles knows that to be an extremely undesirable outcome for us and the first people to suffer and lose their jobs would be the staff - these very low paid employees with monthly bills to pay that the ST woman and McGinlay have told us that need the most protection from KA!

Hence the saying of 'be careful for what you wish for because one day you may get it!'.

I think it’s that will jones off twitter although I might be wrong.

the same fella that quoted Traf’s joke about a counter demo with ‘hahahaha’

seriously fuckers like him don’t realise how much of shit storm they are whipping up. The whole situation is fucking bonkers. Him and his pals should be left to a dark corner of the Internet to peddle their stuff, each to their own and fair enough like, but in this quite unique situation folk like him are getting the chance to take centre stage and whip up protests and divide.

The spotty oik last night calling for administration sums the whole thing up imo. There will be a gaggle of his followers hanging on to every word of that without any kind of thought as to what it actually entails.

The majority on those photos look like they only pitched up for a warm, like Marc would've done, only problem is once you're in the warm one gets incredibly sleepy...

There's a neckbeard in there more interested in his phone, probably ogling pictures with 'Game of Thrones' actress's heads crudely pasted onto porn stars...

Even I knew that without the main man that show was pointless.

What a crock of shit, a 56 year old "man" saying it's never been this bad; someone who lived through relegation to Division 4 (and the first half of that season).

Former Gresley Rovers (2001) manager stating that our team is set up wrong

People swallowing this horseshit at fact.

John McGinlay - what an utterly thick shithouse he is.

I think inviting him on to comment on anything is completely and utterly worthless. A failed businessman and failed coach/scout whatever it is you want to call it.

I can only think McGinlay is following proceedings with ken et al from purely a top level view mainly Bolton news and iles being in his ear.

Anyone who has delved a bit deeper can see it isnt as simple as and clear cut as Bolton news portrays

Goes to show how influential the Bolton news are and how simple people can be influenced.

It seemed the penny dropped for him at one point last night regarding admin - one minute he was all behind it, the next goingon about how his concern was the club’s back office staff....seemed he twigged in the end (I hope)

Someone maybe shuffled a bit of paper in his direction?

Shame about McGinlay, the blokes Bolton through and through and has provided us with some cracking football moments on the pitch, i remember playing one half with him and one half against him in a charity match after he retired and he was brilliant in the dressing room with the lads, and that's how i want to remember him.

He is probably frustrated as the rest of us, but what he fails to remember he played the majority of his Bolton career in the 2nd & 3rd tier of football, he has probably woke up today feeling a right nob, especially as there were hardly anyone at the Victoria Hall last night (Looking at the LoV photo).

At the end of the day, he will always be Super John McGinley.

Spot on,

As a below PL-standard player, he was excellent
As a football manager/coach, less distinguished
As a businessman, he's not likely to be offered a chair on Dragons Den

Like a lot on here I am pretty tired of all this now. The debate just goes round and round in circles.

It's pretty clear no one has an answer to our problems as there isn't one. We are probably still losing money as Ken's business plan was set for higher match revenue. That can only mean more cost cutting.

One thing I would say is that for a club that hasn't got a pot to piss in we do seem to waste money. Paying fees for bang average players and can someone tell me what Julian Darby AND Steve Parkin do? Clearly not having any effect whatever it is. There's probably more examples.

We've only paid 200k for Magennis and very little else.

Although he said fees I suspect he means wages spent on players who come in play one game and then never reappear.
