Was it not Peter Thompsons debut with Dennis Tueart supposedly there star player

I'm sure it was Thompson's debut, I remember sneaking out of school for it on a Wednesday afternoon, Sunderland were FA Cup holders at the time. A policeman on the turnstiles said we could only get in if we paid the full adult price as anyone under 16 should be in school.

Can't say anything that's not already been said. Battersby the only one making sense amongst a pile of steaming horseshit.

They asked for a show of hands at one point and 5 put their hands up and the compere said "Oh, about 10% of the audience"

So, 50 turned out, piss poor.

We don't do debate very well at this club.

Surprising considering we seem to be followed by loads of mass debaters

I won't knock the turnout, was short notice, didn't seem to be advertised with much scope for a balanced debate and if you're not on Twitter or listen to the station you might not have even known about it.

We're such a small club. Taken me years to come to terms with that, skewed by a big arse stadium and the glory years I suppose. A small club where unfortunately a lot of morons have the biggest mouths.

Wasn’t present, had to de-hair the bath plug hole but from what people have said if this mob are leading / playing a part in this ‘protest’ what a sight to behold that will be

it starts, they all fuck off in different directions, like a game of hide & seek, not a witty chant, barely even a sentence between em and about 4 make it back to the main entrance.

They want peppering with missiles worse than lofty v wolves

Clowns the lot of em

Isn't admin a tool used by companies with huge debts or liabilities like rents payable on sale and leasebacks to renegotiate these down?

Then the administrator's fee is worth it.

We don't have these, just a negative cash flow problem and no credit facilities to cover an irregular cash flows .

So why admin?

It is a good point

You can't just wake up one morning and say, I know, let's go into administration

This nonsense on Monday will hopefully fizzle to nothing

It would have done but for the presence of the cameras who will be egging them on.

(I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bit more shit stirring before Monday just to get the loons going again )

It comes from the same kind of cock end that used to say stuff like let’s go down, clear the decks and start again.

They seem to think it’s some kind of magic cure that clears all the clubs debts and gives the club back to the fans.

There will just be another bunch of skint bastards trying get what they can or the ST and their dodgy lawyer with melons on his tie.

It’s total bollocks. It would be an utter disaster and I doubt we’d be seen again at this level for a very long time.

Better the devil you know.

Ive seen the odd bell end posting pictures of tennis balls etc. Is it not a banning order offence throwing missiles at a football match or have a missed something?

You'd have to be soft between the ears not to realise the club is watching everything.

SJM saying he feels sorry for the back office staff re payments: they’ve always been paid on time but let’s have that stop using it as a moan.

whinging about the fact we don’t have adequate scouts at Bolton kids’ matches - it’s been like that forever

Quite a few of his former team mates have influence in the process of developing younger players through the club

Phillips, Spooner, Lee, Kelly

Bet they are delighted with that comment

With presumably Darby (not the poster) being the link between the academy and first team.

Darby, Phillips, Spooner, Lee & Kelly?

Aye, but they're not like John's mate, Coyle.

To be honest, I thought McGinlay was cock-ish tonight and showed why ex-players you're fond of should keep out of stuff they don't understand.
