Absolutely no idea whether that means lazy administration, Salford panicking, confirmation that rumour of his interest in us is bollocks or something else. I'm not sure if that rules him out or not. Howard mentioned some people like the spotlight and some like to quietly go about their business, in regard to it not leaking. As regards Beckham though, his business partnership with Fuller has been shown to be astute, professional and very successful, so I don't think he'd be shooting his mouth off if there actually was any interest in the first place. If a random other club got investment from a sheikh or similar I'd not really care, definitely wouldn't say amazing. So for a Leeds fan to say that it makes you think it's someone famous/ unusual. I'd like it to be Beckham/Fuller for a number of reasons, not least of which I have personal experience of him being "a good bloke", but whoever is still in the frame (if anyone still is) ultimately it comes down to Anderson doing a deal whilst he still holds the cards and the pressures on him to do so and unfortunately I suspect he would put his personal interest ahead of the club.
