Carlos the mod describes this thread as "Like a car crash"

Don't know what the rest think, but i think it's been fookin brilliant, best thread i've ever read on here by far.

It's had everything from Mongolongs to experts in their fields, laughter, tears, stress, hope, despair - the lot (apart from jubilation!).

I don't think it's anywhere near over yet -1000 pager maybe?

The beauty of it is - we get to do it all again in 9 months time when it all goes tits! :D

Lots of intelligent comments from you lot today!

If what Howard says is true about Ken reading the forum, it gave me some light relief, laughing at the fact Ken will have seen everyone calling him "sweaty" and a "CUNT".

Agree entirely with the cynicism of Bassini's funds. How's he going to pay off 30 mill, and fund the club into the prem without breaking Financial Fairplay?

As for the looming embargo, I reckon Ken will last minute pay the players to avoid that. Although I might be giving him too much credit.

H could well still be playing the game and stepping back as a ploy to get Ken to come back to them. Equally, it could be that they've accepted Bassini's compensation.

As for the comments on the interview, I also found it cringey with the comments about "best owner we've ever had." and going to the training ground most days and not being so interested in the money seemed odd. However, he didn't strike me as a total nutjob, but neither did Ken when he came in...

The waters feel very muddy again, just as it seemed they were becoming clearer. Everyone seems to have a different opinion.

I'd put my opinion in but I'm not sure I have one anymore...

Someone mentioned on here about them writing of the £13m of debt to circumvent FFP.

I dont think Ken is insane, hes the opposite. He's just a hard-nosed, selfish business man.

Quite enjoyed it, though seeing the same questions asked time and again is frustrating. Especially when some of them are requesting silly levels of detail.

Just end up Proof reading or skipping many.

I thought that too at first, and it makes sense. Could it not be a case that they involved him to be that guy, but he actually is interested? Not sure who they're keeping the show up for if it's the case. Basran's team are out (or not, depending on who/what you believe), Howard's buyers can't do anything until next week, Gaspard are apparently time wasters.

Who does that leave that they want a better deal from?

why, cos kenneth said so

Note the word apparently. I've seen a lot of people here posting other peoples tweets/articles about them too saying they don't have the money. If you've got them in first place to takeover then that's great. Anyone has to beat Bassini, surely?

Do we know who is involved with Gaspard is they actually have the money and what the plans are?

Just for the hell of it, here's a bit of a conspiracy theory.

Bassini is a front for one of the other bids that have been mooted.

"Takes a thief to catch a thief" type of idea.

Ones he's got it, it immediately goes to someone else.

I thought the same and he walks away with a considerable wedge to set up the business he mentioned in the interview

I was going to bed fully up to speed then getting up in the morning to another 3 pages.  Same with lunchtime and after work and this has been going on for days!

And after all that am I any clearer on the future of my club? Am I balls

Bassini didn't sound at all convincing to me. Maybe he's a stalking horse and there's a colossal game of chicken ongoing with a bidder(s) waiting in order to put more and more pressure on KA to concede ground who in return is suggesting that Bassini is nearly over the line. Or perhaps he really is the only show in town. Which on the basis of his past record doesn't bode particularly well.

What would he have had to say to sound convincing?

Mate no offence but you do get a bit trying after a while - particularly since you've claimed to have read the whole thread on more than one occasion.

This is basic stuff you should really know by now.

Davies loaned KA personally £5m against the ownership of the clubs shares.

Howard states that there was an additional £3m loaned also.

Dark Horse bought this debt from Eddies estate and that is why they have been able to call the debt in and when the notice period is expired and the debt not settled, take control of the club.

To stop that happening KA needs to settle before the 14 day notice is up OR for someone to pay a consideration to delay the 14 days.

H has clearly stated that they require the full £8m owed.

That is why I've referred to the £8m above.

The consideration is whatever is agreeable between whoever wants to pay it and H's client.  H has stated that £2m had previously been offered and was not enough to be considered by his clients.

Forgive me Sluffy, but there's been a lot of figures put on here and even though I have read through the thread and do recall the 8 million figure, it is hard to keep everything in context.

You also said it was a guess, which is why I questioned it. I don't actually remember H clearly stating that they require the full 8 million owed, I must've missed that. I do remember H stating Bassini offered 2 mill but that wasn't enough but that 12 million might be. 8 million is between those figures, which is why I assumed it to be a guess.

In hindsight I should've read your post more carefully as you did say "either H's clients have been paid for the shares" but I've been skim reading today, so I apologize for wasting your time.

However, I'm not sure why you have called me out twice now, with the caveat of "no offence" when it's your clear intention to tell me off. In future, leave out the "no offence" remark, because I can handle your passive aggressive comments without you trying to sugarcoat it. There have been far more repetitive questions than the ones I have asked, and the only reason you seem to be targeting me and not them is because I "claim" to have read the thread, which many have not. And I don't blame them as it is a bit of a car crash and I've seen so many figures on here and a fair amount of them have been disputed and argued over, it's hard to know what is a fact.

Thank you for the explanation, you seem a nice guy and I imagine you're probably as frustrated as H going over the same ground, but not everyone has been here since the start like you, whilst it has given me clarity, playing catch up has also caused a fair amount of confusion.

What a drama that would be. H's bidders hire Bassini so that Ken thinks he's got out of the share recall, but in reality Bassini is just stalling for H's group so that they can wait for the share recall option. I doubt it but it's a nice thought.

Critical failure of the stadium’s IT system? 😂 jesus christ.

Players have told Ken to fuck off is my bet and decided not to play but the club dont want to report it.
