Not wanting to be in the side of a Sun journalist but Nixon has said the 2nd party would only move for the club if they were successful with buying the hotel.

For some reason people keep ignoring this part. No one is going to buy the club first and leave someone else to get the better deal with the hotel. FV have dragged this shit on for 2 months because they won't sign off without the hotel. Amongst other reasons, of course.

So... a self-imposed deadline then? The original point being that if the administrators wanted to meet with Bassini or anyone else this afternoon, the clock isn't going to run out on them.

No not self imposed.

The administrators had a certain amount of money in the coffers. This money has run out and there are bills to pay. Wages to pay the fact it is month end is no coincidence.

We are simply a business with no money. That is the story if you believe the Admin.

But the other bidders have not even seen the clubs books. So are in no position to buy the club.

Yeah, no one is claiming to believe Nixon and saying they're on the verge of doing the deal. More the fact that if they do get the hotel they're suddenly in a much much better position to get the club. Whether that's buying it out of admin or from FV, who knows.

Doesn't matter. Everyone knows the two businesses need each other. Best interest of the creditors to sell them separately, best interest of the businesses going forward is to sell them together.

The only way we'll be bought is if one bidder offers the highest price for both.

In that scenario FV will allmost certainly pull out. The new hotel owners will need to transfer £500k+ to the club to prevent admin from commencing liquidation proceedings.

How can the second lot being in no position to buy the not matter ?

Even if the hotel finalises today they would need to pump £100s K to keep us going that money is needed now.

Out of interest is the 150 people losing their jobs a combined hotel and club figure ?

I mean there are bigger hurdles to overcome than that Ani.

Neither can realistically go ahead with the sale of one unless they simultaneously buy the other which is an impasse.

Don't even know if the other bidder is doing anything other than trying to boost the price and has no intention of buying the club anyway.

Whatever the case the admin will support it as their job is to get the best deal for the creditors even if that's at the expense of the future running of the club and hotel.

Reporting a rumour you have heard isn't a crime. And by definition, a rumour is something that you have heard from another source. Similarly speculating about potential scenarios isn't a crime providing it's identified as speculation - although a lot of Sluffy's diatribe is criminal IMO :)

Writing something malicious that you have made up and presenting it as fact however may be libellous.

So what did the Blackpool fan write?

Several cases involving Blackpool. This is just one of them:

Well we have 2 and 1/2 hours to have a club in the EFL, getting prety fucking nervy now.

No, we don't. If no takeover is agreed by the EFL's deadline they'll unsuspend the Notice of Withdrawal, which will allow us an extra fortnight. But obviously, the fact the administrator will begin liquidation proceedings tomorrow is of greater concern. I imagine we will have until tomorrow morning to avoid that.
